Namenda for MS

I have MS, for over 20 yrs come and go remission, Now my MS has total affect my brain as if I have Alzheimer (mild) also sometimes like Parkinsons. Have been on all of the MS meds, my doctors wants to try me on Namenda and my Gov't BC and BS will not cover it since I don't have Alzheimers , does any one know how i can see if the drug company can help me with the cost of this drug. I am completly disable can't not work due to the parts of the brain effected by my MS and I feel that I have nothing to lose by trying this drug. I have a pseudocholinesterase deficiency which caused me some problems in the past. Can I take Aricept when I have a pseudocholinesterase deficiency? ## Medline Plus states that "Pseudocholinesterase deficiency is a condition that results in increased sensitivity to certain muscle relaxant drugs used during general anesthesia, called choline esters." [1]. Aricept is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor and is known to intensify the effects of succinylcholine-type muscle relaxation during anesthesia and has the potential to interfere with the activity of anticholinergic medications. Namenda and diabetic

I am helping a friend of mine. She is 78 and confused. How will this medication help her? She has advanced diabetes. ## My mother is 81. She has been taking Aricept 10mg since Oct.2005. Today, 6/28/06 her doctor has prescribed Namenda. I would like to know what this is and how will it work along with the Aricept? ## The Namenda should not interfere with her diabetes or diabetes medication. It was prescribed to help her with dementia (memory loss) or alzheimer's disease. Side effects include tiredness, sore muscles, constipation and dizziness. round white pill with j 18

I have a handful of small white round pills with J on one side and 18 on the other. I cannot find this exact configuration on any website. The closest I can find is J 10 or J 5, which are Donepezil. Based on other evidence I suspect it may be Modafinil but am unable to verify this. ## It is modafinil 100% I have a hundred or so of them Guaranteed ## What is the mg of them I have some also but have no idea ## J 18 is modafinil in the 100mg configuration.
