An ear is the organ that enables hearing and (in mammals) body balance using the vestibular system. In mammals, the ear is usually described as having three parts: the outer ear, the middle ear and the inner ear. The outer ear consists of the pinna and the ear canal. diarrhea caused as a result of antiobiotics and not ating any solid foods

hi my daughter she is 1 year old and she had ear infection so she on antibiotics and as a result she got diarrhea and not eating any solid foods and only grinking water and milk.So because she lost weight and looks thin and pale. Antibiotic is seven days course, i do not know what to do? please help.....thankyou. ## How much weight has she lost? Generally, as long as she is still drinking liquids, so she doesn't become dehydrated, she should be fine, but check with her doctor to be sure. Diarrhea and nausea can be normal side effects of an antibiotic, coupling that with the infection she's had, might cause appetite loss. Other side effects, as reported by the FDA, may include non-allergic skin rash, and dizziness. Ref: Antibiotic Information How is she doing, now?

Expired ear drops

I have expired ear drops that are two months expired and I was wondering if I could still use them? ## Hello, Clarisa! How are you? It would be best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new prescription, if needed. Accidentally put ear wax removal in my eyes

I accidentally put the earwax removal in my eyes thinking that it was the eye drops. I washed my eyes out with water and used the eye drops. Will this affect my eyes? It’s 9:30 at night, no doctors are open. ## How are you feeling now? Can you confirm that the active ingredient in your earwax drops is Carbamide Peroxide? If so, this is what it says on the National Poison Control Center's website: A common call Poison Control receives is when ear wax remover is mistaken for eye drops and accidentally instilled in the eye(s). If this happens, immediately rinse with plenty of running water for 15–20 minutes. Then, use the webPOISONCONTROL® online tool for guidance or call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222. Source: I hope this helps and that your eye is feeling fine! ##...

I went to the Dr.'s 12/6/10. I have an ear infection. He prescribed Vosol. I took the RX to Walmart and the discounted price is $107.72. I can not afford it. Is there any way you can help? Is there another product that is WAY cheper? What home remedies do you suggest? ## What type of ear infection? Vosol is usually used to treat an outer ear infection (swimmer's ear), and if that's what you have then yes, there are other cheaper options available, including generic medications that you can ask your doctor about prescribing. You can learn more about swimmer's ear here on Medline Plus. However, in many cases, swimmer's ear goes away by itself, but waiting can be miserable, since it is painful, and annoying. This doesn't apply to every case, either, some do need to ...

Amox-Clav for an ongoing ear infection

I have had an ear infection for a few months. It comes and goes. Had one course of antibiotics, but it's back again. I am trying Amox-Clav. I'm an adult male and wondered if the 500-125 is the right choice and if so, how many days should I take it for at 2 pills a day? ## Hello, Nathan! How are you? I'm sorry about your ear infection, they are miserable! As to the antibiotic, you should take the one prescribed by your doctor, for as long as they have instructed you to take it, also make sure you finish the full course of it. The side effects of Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid may include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, headache, and non-allergic skin rash. Is this the same antibiotic that you tried last time?

Calvepen Tabs 666mg

Prescribed for a sore throat ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. The only thing I can suggest is that you try asking your doctor or pharmacist for more information. ## was prescribed 21 of these and cant remember why, i still have them because i go better without them! ## i am on a prescribed course of calvepen 666mg, one to be taken 4 times a day. i went to the doctor with painfully swollen glands and all over body aches. it seems to be clearing up quite nicely. however, i am experiencing some strong side effects. t...

Did you know a lot of toothaches and face sweeling is due to your main sinus duct where your cheek bone is, that is filled up with fluid, called sinusitis? Most people don't even know you can get that. Causes teeth to hurt, gums swollen, face swelling. It's always good to see a doctor first so they can put you on the right meds. Even though Cedfinir is one of the medication they will prescribe. But do understand it is not a miracle pill. Give it 4-6 days before you even see any results. Ok well I just wanted to share some info. Have a nice day. ## Hello AlwaysSick, Thank you for this information.
