Adderall Manufactured By Teva Not Working (Page 57) (Top voted first)

I have had two refills of Adderall 20 mg that was manufactured by Teva/barr (Teva) and it seems to have much less medication in each pill. Refills by another manufacturer work. This is ridiculous, and where do we report Teva and who can check each pill for amount for medication? I would gladly donate some of my worthless ones to the FDA?

Ugh. This sucks. Teva is medium rank, but i would much rather prefer teva over malinkroft or the aurobindo.. i personally never have tried aurobindo, after googling the name & seeing so many terrible reviews. I closely dodged wasting money on aurobindo. I think it has alot more neg reviews than even Malinkroft and all malinkroft did was give me intense migraines after ten days, i stopped taking them. Migraines, is all that it did. I couldn't focus.. it made me more scatterbrained than i am.. Even naturally. :(

Horrible. I hate it. No luck with sunpharm's addies that helped me personally the best. No release date issued with my sun pharm addies, going on almost 3 months on back-order. #hopeless #avoidmalinkroft

No one posting here is receiving effective medicine, therefore they are not feeling any urge to smoke. You could take the TEVA brand and your urge to smoke would surely disappear.

Contact your insurance company AND your doctor, to inform them of the problem. You might get another prescription (get a paper prescription so you can shop around, but do not buy Teva) and have to pay out-of-pocket, or get to go on brand name only. Go to the FDA website and file your complaint. Then, contact Teva by phone and voice your complaint. That is your course of action.

Have you asked about the date of the product? I have been steadily getting Teva Adderall 20mg tablets and 10mg tablets.

I literally had the same exact thing happen to me. I went through hell and back to find the brand name adderall also. I spent $347.00 I haven’t tried them yet, but the generic oval 20 mg pills are just awful. I became very depressed and a homebody. It got to the point where I couldn’t get out of bed anymore I was so depressed.

How are the name brand teva adderall working for you now?

Not bad. Somewhat weak. No real side effects.

Although they seem weak, still have decent ADD control.

Try them. What's to lose?

I'm sorry for the late reply, yes what we have been experiencing is true. Hell... When I tell you 7 months...it felt like 7 years of worrying I was soon to find out the culprit of my problems was something fatal at the age of 36. I have been to the doctor more in 7 months than I have in 7 years and I think I've had more blood work done than I didn't when I was pregnant!

Just to update: I took the brand until I got the Mydayis approved but holy mother!!! I ate more Tums, Zantac, and Imodium than I did food! So it's back to the brand... And yes, it's expensive for 60 pills but it averages to $11 a day and it's well worth it!

I hope to soon read on this discussion thread that the nightmare is finally over for everyone!

I have come to conclusion after 3 refills Mylan is now best...at least for me. 30 mg pretty darn good.

I just took a 20 mg round peach mylan with a 10 mg blue mylan...took them together instead of separate because I heard this brand sucks. I also drank alka seltzer one hr prior, so we shall see if it works.

My CVS in Vegas can’t special order, they just order “generic Adderall” and cross their fingers. Depending on how well your pharmacist knows you, they might be able to help. Mine now knows I can’t do TEVA, and she’s trying her best to get other things in. She said I may have more options if I go to 20mg IR and split my dose, instead of staying on 10mg.

Mylan is basically like water for me. I’ve been on 30 mg 2/day for about 13 years, with a couple of vyvanse breaks here and there. I haven’t considered going 20 mg of anything tho...might be worth a try.

I just got my adderall filled and they gave me the Auro this month when they always give me another brand. If I’m responding to he auro in a terrible way, how would I go about seeing if they can replace my prescription if I bring them back the script. Do I go to the doctor or the pharmacy.
