A friend of mine went to Walgreens this month and got Mallinckrodt generic 30mg XR's. The imprint is M 8956. They look like that garbage CVS generic with a clear bottom. I have to fill my script tomorrow and I plan on asking what they have before I fill it. I suggest everyone else does the same. ## I'm new and just got my 3rd XR script filled today and immediately noticed the beads inside the capsule were white and not orange, and found they were made by Mallinkrodt. I haven't tried them yet but would the Walgreens Pharmacy exchange for a new script by a different manufacturer? Not looking forward to a whole month of something with so much negative feedback.. ## They won't exchange it. Once it goes over the counter that's it. ## Did it end up working? ## I just had m...

Are these tablets Adderall, and are they a good brand? I also heard that they may be discontinued. Is that true as well? National Drug Code: 53489-0570 ## The yellow MP 447 30 mg is in fact generic Adderall. Has anyone tried them yet? These were just dispensed for my usual prescription. NDC: 57664-647 / 53489-570 Inactive ingredients: - Crospovidone - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Povidones - Starch, Corn - D&C Yellow No. 10 Ref: DailyMed ## Even if someone does report their experience with these as being good, it doesn't necessarily mean that you'll end up having the same reaction. We all react/respond differently to the same meds, including the various binders and fillers in each tablet's composition. So my suggestion would be to try it for yourse...

Hey, I have been prescribed adderall for the last 10 years, but recently I was abruptly cut off. This was due to an illegal invasion of my privacy, and I have severe add/adhd. As a result, I'm about to lose my college investment. I also am in a methadone maintenance program, but I desperately need my add meds. back to regain my executive functioning skills. I have never abused my adderall and my records concur. Is there a recommended doctor in eastern Wisconsin that will prescribe adderall and xanax in conjunction with one another? In addition, they must be ok with prescribing to a patient already is in a methadone program, due to an opiate addiction. I have severe anxiety as well, and I was just about to graduate with a dual-degree from a prestigious university until I was abruptly...

Found a red barrel shaped pill with just 85 written on the side, any idea what it is? any help would be appreciated :) ## By barrel-shaped, do you mean oval or oblong? Or is it actually wide like a barrel too? Right now, the closest match I'm finding is a maroon colored, oval, scored, film-coated tablet imprinted with "AP | 85". This is identified as Bifera Rx Oral vitamin and mineral combination. Can anyone else confirm what this might be? ## Red to Maroon, Capsule shaped tablet, 85 on one side - no other marks Please help me identify this... I noticed The last time I had this dispensed, that the marking -30- on 13 out of 60 tablets were upside down relative to the front of the tablet. I have never noticed this before, and I also noticed a complete lack of efficacy. I take this for narcolepsy. The date it was dispensed was December 4, 2020. ## There is no specific way the marking has to be, it is solely dependent on how the pills fell into the press at that particular manufacturing facility. However, I am sorry about the issue you had with efficacy. Has this ever happened, before? Have you spoken to your doctor? You may need a dosage adjustment. The FDA warns that Adderall carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness, and hyperactivity. ## Hey...

What is this drug? ## I need to know the characteristics of the drug. ## Sorry, this is not available in the U.S. and finding information on foreign drugs is almost impossible. The same company Psychofarma makes generic Metilfenidato, and if is not as good ## When I was in Mexico, I had requested Adderal and they gave me this. According to the following article from Walgreens (dated February 2023), there are a number of key factors that may be influencing potential drug shortages when it comes to Adderall and other popular prescription medications as well; including but not limited to post-pandemic supply chain constraints (such as manufacturing issues and other industry-controlled factors, such as raw materials), increased consumer demand, and federally regulated rules surrounding certain medications, to name a few. [1] [2] Walgreens themselves go on to admit that pharmacists should be the ones keeping their providers informed on drug shortages to ensure patients can get the medicines they need as quickly as possible - whereas in some instances, a medication may be available, but the specified dosage is no...

I have had two refills of Adderall 20 mg that was manufactured by Teva/barr (Teva) and it seems to have much less medication in each pill. Refills by another manufacturer work. This is ridiculous, and where do we report Teva and who can check each pill for amount for medication? I would gladly donate some of my worthless ones to the FDA? ## You'd have to report any complaints to the FDA, at 888-INFO-FDA. However, there may not actually be anything to report. They do allow generic medications to differ from the name brands, in the amount of the active ingredient, by up to plus or minus 20%. This is considered an acceptable therapeutic window. For most people, these differences don't cause any problems, but if someone is sensitive to medications, it means that one with a slightly ...

I was recently diagnosed with Adult ADD and have been prescribed Amphetamine Salts (Generic for Adderall) for a few months now. The initial dosage was one 10mg tablet/ three times a day and recently my Doctor upped the dosage to one 30mg tablet/ twice a day. I know that overall this has been very beneficial for me but I cant help but wonder if the generic brand (IR Amphetamine Salts) has less of the active ingredient, and more unnecessary side effects(irritability, fatigue). I know that while the active ingredients are likely to be the same, the "fillers" usually are not and even the active ingredients can vary up to 10%. I also know that everybody reacts differently depending on their bodies' make-up as well as the drugs and I have always reacted sensitively to any kind of ...

I was a person in recovery from opioid addiction when I found a medicine that controls the root cause of my addiction. Three years passed in which not only did I stay clean, but I also went from retail to corporate hourly to salaried employment. Then I relapsed and was honest with my physician about the situation, and she cut me off my Mydayis. With this new corporate job, the responsibility as a parent, and all that used to be too much that I'd use, is becoming that way again. Please help me find a doctor in the Indiana 46219 zip code who knows the difference between a mistake and a genuine change in lifestyle.

My son is 22 and has adhd but we can't find a doctor to give him adderall. ## Hello, Jayne! How are you? Adderall is a controlled substance that has addictive potential, so if you're contacting doctors and asking them to prescribe it, they are going view that as being drug seeking behavior and refuse. What he really needs to do is set up an appointment with a doctor to discuss his issues, get a proper diagnosis and see what they offer as his treatment options. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi Jayne, I don't know if you found a Dr to give it to your son yet but my Dr will write them but I DON'T want to put that info out here. {edited for privacy} ## {edited for privacy} ## {edited for privacy} ## Hi Tony, my dr decided to stop my adderall & klonopan when ...

Sandoz is the best generic ir adderall I've used. August 11, 2017 I was told by the pharmacist they no longer produce this product. I asked if brand name was available and was told yes. When I received them I noticed they were made by Teva and let me tell you they are awful. I don't know what to do if I can't find a decent generic brand. ## Activis (spell check?) is pretty good. I also went from Sandoz to Teva, not by choice, and hated it. Then I tried Activis, and I'm happy with it. ## That's strange if it is discontinued but CVS just gave me Sandoz Adderall today 9/5/2017 , I had requested corepharma because previously they gave me Mylan brand, which was Bad. I did well on corepharma but the only generic they could get was Sandoz. ## It is possible that just that p...

I always go to the same pharmacy to get my prescriptions filled, but this time, I was on my way to school so I stopped at a different pharmacy and got my adderall filled there. My usual pills are generic 10mg, as are these new ones. My normal pill bottle reads: Amphetamine Salts 10mg, gen for Adderall 10mg tablet. take one tablet twice a day. These are made by Caraco Pharmaceuticals, I believe (well that's what the bottle says, so I'm assuming that's what it means). They are a turquoise-ish color, and round. The new bottle of generic pills that I just received has the same information except it says they are made by Corepharma Jtk. They are vivid blue. These new pills do not seem as effective at all. I feel like I can barely concentrate. I don't know what to do. How do I...

My usual pharmacy was out of the orange pills, forcing me to resort to the pink ones, a decision I regret and will never repeat. They're less expensive, which might explain why they opt for them. I've been on a routine of 30 mg twice a day for years and have never required an increase. Though there is another pharmacy within a 25-mile radius, I never felt the need to go there until now, realizing the pink generics are ineffective for my condition! I lack energy, struggle to focus, and am frustrated that I forgot how ineffectual these pink pills are for me. Despite taking three pills today, there was no improvement. I'm not seeking a high. I genuinely have ADD, and the upcoming month looks bleak until I can refill my prescription for the orange pills. Can anyone else relate? ...

What is a small white pill with A/B on one side and the back side has multiple half circles? I think it could be labeled as "Metilfenidato", or a foreign add medication similar to adderall. ## I don't have a source to identify foreign pills, unfortunately. But, I can tell you that this is Spanish for Methylphenidate, which is the active ingredient in Ritalin. Ref: Ritalin Information The FDA warns that this class of medications carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness, and loss of appetite. please share your experience with this never seen before, less effective drug that two different pharmacy's have given to me in last two months. they make me fall asleep! ## Hi shaun, When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may respond favorably with one medication and not the other (even if they're both Adderall Xr), due to how you feel or based on whatever side effects present themselves. I was taking Barr Dextroamphetamine Sulfate for 12 years. This medication was a miracle drug for me as it lowered my blood pressure, increased my focus, attention, and breathing. About three years ago, my medication "disappeared" without warning or notice. No one would tell me the truth until I found my drug at a pharmacy two hours away. After receiving the medication twice, the pharmacist said he could no longer get it for me because my $50 generic shot up to $500 overnight. I have been forced to try other generics, but none compared to Barr. Teva bought Barr, and I was able to get it periodically... except when the government planned a "shortage" three months ago. I received my medication, however, the whole 180 pills were ineffective. Before that, the other "Adder...
