Aurobindo Alprazolam Er Vs Greenstone Xr, Sandoz & Actavis Er (Page 2)

Updated

Ok so a previous conversation I had with alprazolam user was with the newly approved Auribindo alprazolam ERs here in the US. They only make extended release here on US and they make instant release as well but do not believe they are approved in the US just the extended release ER/XR..and aurobindos is as follows:

.5mg er- x 72
1mg er- x 73
2mg er- x 74
3mg er- x 75

I have not yet tried any of the auribindo alprazolam products. I know they are made from India and just my preference I enjoy USA made medicine. I have been doing just great on all greenstone xr / er tablets and think they are great but within the last few years auribindo, sandoz, activas have made their own extended or xr or er version of alprazolam. The new sandoz er looks nice and well made but I have stayed away from sandoz since it started the press underground market and ruined sandoz alprazolam with all the fakes so I stay away from sandoz since and activas I stay away from depending on the medicine.

Which leads me to my question which is the best of most preferred alprazolam extended er and xr release: greenstone(my preferred but only tried activas er) sandoz activas or auribindo. I would love to hear your feedback and any experiences with these medicines as I take greenstone xr and was wondering if it is the most efficient but have not tried the Indian aurobindo or sandoz or activas er..which is your favorite and what do you all think of auribindo alprazolam er compared to greenstone xr alprazolam? Thanks can't wait for some feedback.

Greenstone or aurobindo or sandoz or activas on extended release which is best?

Anything but the 1mg Aurobindo generics, manufactured in India. Like Greenstone but I'm tolerant so nothing helps anymore. Sandoz worked well before I hit tolerance/interdose withdrawals -- it's an utterly hellacious death to have panic disorder and to have your meds quicksand on you. Get off them before you get to where I am.

Cheers!

Agreed. 1-1/2 yrs on Aurobindo and I've just wanted to off myself. BTW CVS is now relying heavily on Aurobindo's 1MG generic and won't special order you a dang thing till your refill date.

The walls are closing in. I am in a hard taper.

Why do you say say, how could that be true too? Have attributed constant and really weird head pains to a recent concussion, but they started before the concussion if I'm honest.

Still better than Aurobindo which was like speed on steroids, grind-your-teeth, tinnitus inducing hell-pills.

Getting off. Eff this.

That is because this company produces low quality products.

They have received multiple warning letters from the FDA.

I have posted a link to the most recent

No good at all and sold out of California. Beware, no good.

Stay away from Aurobindo anything, it is one of the worst. Lots of drugstores carry it because it is cheap like Accord, another worthless generic.

Re: Mason (# 2) Expand Referenced Message

I have had the worst month from this garbage audobindo brand. I take the Greenstone brand bur my pharmacy was out. I have had sleep difficulty and a constant hangover/brain fog feel. Never again. As far as recreational use, this does not apply to me, I take a very small dose to control anxiety period.

I have taken Alprazolam for months and not had any major problems with it’s effectiveness. Mylan by far worked the best, but now with Aurobindo I feel like I’m taking a “sugar pill”. The prescribed dose is 2mg as needed up to 4 times a day. The first day I took all 8 mg, despite not filling them until 5:00 pm. I didn’t sleep that night at all and the next day took just as many, with a tiny slice of relief from my anxiety. Usually I don’t take more than 2.5mg- 3 mg a day. I don’t want to have to depend on anything to help me feel “normal”. I filled this drug 03/23/2021. Please tell me, is anyone else going through the same thing?!?!?

Re: Veronica (# 33) Expand Referenced Message

I just found out my pharmacy no longer gets Breckenridge 2mg alprazolam tablets. Or generics. I received half my monthly dose. 42 2mg Aurobindo. Tablets. White sticks. With Y 21 inscribed. I just took my first dose today. And notice the Breckinridge were more effective. I'm hoping it will take a day to adjust and Aurobindo 2mg Xanax tabs are not as bad as everyone on here is saying. Personally I think Mylan us the s****iest generic Xanax ever. Hopefully I'm right. Not happy. If these are bad. I'm stuck. N will have to go to another pharmacy. Which has greenstone and Dava/Par always. You just have to ask them for the greenstone. Or they'll give u Dava/Par. I'm in NJ. The Breckinridge B707 pills were working excellent. Now. My pharmacy said they don't distribute to them anymore. Im really pissed. I hope these bars aren't as bad as people are saying. Smh..

Wallgreens doesn’t buy those Aurobindo meds. Or at least the one near me won’t. Give them a try?

I hate aurobindo meds so much I claim to be allergic to them so I don’t end up with them.
I haven’t ever tried their alprazolam, but their adderall is awful & their zofran almost gave me seizures.

Greenstone hands down. Aurobindo is dirty, headache laden junk, and they sell the immediate release here in the usa. I was stuck with it until I found the greenstone. The rest are inferior to greenstone as well in my opinion.

So, I have a refill due soon, and I was fortunate enough to find a pharmacy that usually carries my preferred, AUTHORIZED Generic 2mg Greenstone Alprazolam in stock, and if not can and will special order it for me from their distributor, as it says on my CVS profile, "Greenstone Brand Only".

Years Ago, before I knew about the existence of Authorized Generics and their difference between normal generics (that only have to be 80% Bioequivalent to the name brand!), I tried just about every generic 2mg Alprazolam manufacturer out there, and about 10 years ago, the White ones, (Greenstone or Sandoz), and the Yellow "SchoolBuses", Made by Purepac until they were bought by Actavis were all solid choices. Then I started seeing the Green, "Hulks", and despite confusing popular opinion, I personally never really liked them! ONLY, the very first time trying one did I feel like it hit me strong. Every one I tried after that failed to have one of the main components/side effects I desire from this medication: Drowsiness.

I know everybody's body chemistry is different, but for example, even when I had a choice of the Dava's (Hulk's), I chose Sandoz, because they are significantly more sedating. Ironically, for being the only Generic 2mg Alprazolam version to have the emulcifier Crospovidone in it, The Green "Hulks" always seemed to have a delayed mechanism of action to me, and would take a good 45 minutes to an hour for me to feel anything, if I even did at all.

I was also fairly certain that at this point, after DAVA Pharmaceuticals was bought out by Endo Pharmaceuticals in 2017, that these Hulks would cease to exist. Evidently, they started being produced by Endo's Generic's Division: Par Pharmaceuticals, whom also make the Alprazolam ODT, or Orally-Disintegrating Tablets.

My Question is: According to the McKesson website, it appears as though a pharmacy COULD in fact still order the DAVA "Hulks", as they have the same NDC number and everything, but the bottle says Par Pharmaceuticals, and on CVS' website, underneath the picture of the tablet it says "Alprazolam Generic 2mg Tablet, Par Pharmaceuticals, an Endo Corporation.

If the Green "S 90 3" imprinted "Hulk" tablets, are still available, seeing as how the current patent is apparently set to expire this May, should I use one of my monthly refills to try the Dava/Par "Hulks" one last time? If McKesson can order them, considering I might not be able to get them again EVER, once the patent runs out? Or should I not mess with a good thing, a continue to get my Greenstone brand I prefer, which I think is the right choice, because as an "Authorized Generic", its' the only manufacturer whose formula is identical to the brand name's, and so it's like asking someone, "Which would you rather have: A can of Coca-Cola, or a can of Shasta Cola?"

Thoughts?
