I've been prescribed xanax 2mg for over 30 yrs. Since the gov't has gotten involved the Dr. has began to cut my prescription down by 5-10 each month. Last visit my heart rate exceeded 120 bpm. He called me back into room asking why my heart rate was so high!! Well, lets see now doc, I've been on xanax 30 yrs for severe panic, and anxiety attacks, p.t.s.d. among other problems, and you keep cutting my meds!! Think it might have something to do with heart rate? And he's been a Dr. for 30-40 yrs. This is so obvious even a grammar school child would see why my heart rate was dangerously high! Get GOVERNMENT OUT OF THE MEDICAL PROFESSION B4 IT KILLS US ALL!!!

Hey, my psychiatrist recently moved to a different state and I am having trouble finding a new one that will continue prescribing me my 2mg Xanax prescription that I’ve been taking for severe anxiety and agoraphobia for years now. Can you please help me out and give me the name of this psychiatrist? Thank you so much. It’s so hard to find doctors that understand that some people really need this medicine.

As a pain psychologist for 35 years, I am struck by the comfort level the patients in this forum have with admitting to illegal behaviors by themselves and their physicians. You might want to turn the disclosure dial down a half a click when discussing illegal behaviors. Just tryin to help.
