Find A Suboxone Doctor That Accepts Medicaid In Or Around Bedford Indiana (Top voted first)

Updated

I had been seeing a suboxone doctor in Bloomington IN. Recently I had applied for medicaid and was granted full coverage. I dunno if anyone is farmilar with medicaid policies, but you must choose a plan before a certain amount of time is up or one will be assigned to you. Before choosing a plan I phoned my doctors office and asked them what forms of medicaid that they accepted. I chose a plan based on the information that I was provided. I started seeing this doctor in late November of last year 2014, was prescribed 12 mg of suboxone daily. On the 16th of this month I was to have an appointment with him at 10:30am. On the 15th I received a phone call from the office stating that my medicaid plan had switched and they could no longer see me due to the fact that they couldn't bill the insurance. So I proceeded to ask the woman what plans they accepted and told her that I would see what I could do to fix the problem. Long story short, by the time it was over I had called medicaid four times switching my plan each time to try and fit their needs, only to call the drs office back each time and speak with a different assistant who would tell me that they didn't accept the form I had switched to. They offered no alternatives, no detox meds no nothing. Just hateful snide comments. This lead me to phone a the medical board and a local attorney because I felt that I was wronged. I discovered that it is perfectly legal for a physician to do this to anyone, ethically they should provide you with a list of other doctors but they don't have to. Anyways this has all lead me to this point. I am searching for a doctor in or around my area. I was curious if anyone could point me in the right direction? I live in Bedford IN 47421 and I am willing to travel as long as it isn't like 100 miles or something insane. It's a shame, but this medicine was really helping aid me in getting my life back on track, I cannot afford to start using again and I have to much going on to be sick at the moment. I just got my son back, just started college and besides that I have responsibilities that I can't just put on hold. I am all alone in the world and I am looking for a helping hand. I would greatly appreciate any advice that anyone could offer. Thank you so very much... I don't know if it makes a difference but i currently have advantage hoosier health wise as my insurance, but I am able to switch it up until the end of March. Please help, I'll be on pins and needles waiting for a reply.

Hello, Kris! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the problem you had, that's terrible.

There is a search engine you can use on the website, Suboxone.com click here. It will return results that include the doctor's contact information, so you can call them to see what insurance they accept.

The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Can you post back and let me know if you have any luck?

I've heard about this place called Journey Road on Post rd. I am checking them out myself since they are only open on Wednesdays. Try calling them (317) 405-8833. Best of luck hun! However, if nothing else, try going to see Dr. Segal at the methadone clinic, it's called Indianapolis treatment center. He's awesome. It's on 46th street and allisonvile rd. Or try midtown methadone clinic. It is much cheaper and no wait in line. It's $75 a week but no benzo prescriptions or any stimulants prescriptions. Prayers your way!!!

I just got on HIP and I;m thinking about getting off H and getting Suboxone. Does the HIP cover the cost of the prescription if I'm paying the doctor cash? I think I can cover the doc visit ($300), but i hear the subox prestription is expensive if inurance doesn't cover it.

I go through the same sh*t with Dr n mdwise. Was told by Dr. Nusers that's the one I want, mdwise last year. They won't change my insurance once power payment goes through. Since then ,I pay cash to my doctor. But I still don't have a sub doctor and need one real bad. Its time now, a year l8r, they want another power payment same nurse tells me the mhs one this time. What if that's wrong. There has got to be a sub Dr who take hip insurance. I'm in North West Indiana.
