Linzess, And Heart Problems

I have been on Linzess since August 2015. By February 2016 I began having heart problems, short of breath, pounding, racing, and palpatating. I have seen a cardiologist, and had a echo cardiogram that showed problems. I went for a heart cath, but only had minminal blockage. I wore a holter heart moinitor for 24 hours, and there was many instances of pounding spontaneous rapid increase in my heart rate, which is what I had been experiencing. Additionally, my lips, tongue, and nose begin to feel tinglely, and numb feeling. I was put on heart meds, and they helped for a bit, but are not working now. Has anyone else experienced heart problems with linzess as well?

The FDA doesn't list such issues as being among the known side effects for this medication, the only cardiac one listed is orthostatic hypotension, which is when your blood pressure drops suddenly, when stand or sit up suddenly.

Other typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and bloating.

Are you on any other medications? Have you stopped the Linzess to see if anything changes?
