Lone Wolf White Vein Maeng Da Kratom

Just picked up a bottle of Lone Wolf White Vein Maeng-Da capsules. I just need some info about how to take this stuff, their 500mg per capsule. Plus I heard if taken in small doses it gives you energy but if you take more than at a time you'll get a nodding effect? I'm just extra nervous cause I usually take subs for a week till I fill again n there's usually not any problems. So I want this to be a smooth transition. I take some really potent opioids and I usually have to take 1 and a half subs on my day one of stopping my pills, so if I take that many subs how many of these kratom pills should I take on my day one? I read a lot about kratom the past week. I just hope it lives up to the hype. Thanks for listening to my rant and any and all suggestions are welcome.

Hi Rawdog,

As someone who's taken Kratom on and off over the past couple years, I think it's great to see others giving nature a chance. You're spot on with your research about smaller doses anecdotally being more energetic and larger doses being more sedating (from what I understand, it has to do with variances in the alkaloid content).

My experience: I personally prefer the Maeng Da Green over the Red and White strains because I feel that it is a perfect balance of the two; Red seemingly being more relaxing and White being more energizing. White Maeng Da was far too stimulating for me, causing me anxiety and Red Vein I found to be pleasant for evening consumption. Green Maeng Da for day or night time consumption is my middle ground, so to speak. Some vendors also sell blends of all 3 strains that I have also found to be very effective. It really just depends on the integrity, quality and freshness of the Kratom leaf from a trusted source.

As far as dosing is concerned, I can only speak based on my own personal experience. 1 level teaspoon - 1.5 teaspoons is what I consume in the form of tea. An equivalent dose in '00' capsule form for me comes out to around 6-8 capsules. Dosages for other patients may be much greater, but that is based on your own discretion.

No one has ever died from taking (pure) Kratom in and of itself. The only toxicology/fatality reports I've seen include the presence of pharmaceuticals, steroids or other illegal substances that certainly may have killed the person on their own accord.

Thanx for getting back to me so quick David I appreciate it. Next time I go to get more kratom I will definitely try the Maeng-Da Green like you suggested. I just have a few more questions first is I'm always hearing everyone say they use it in a tea and in the shop where I go I've only seen it in capsule form. Now would opening my capsules out n use that powder in a tea would that work ir no? Also you said what you take in powder form is equal to 6-7 capsules that seems like a lot of capsules. And like I said I usually take 1 and a half 8mg suboxone on my day one , so how many capsules would equal one n a half subs? I just don't want to feel crappy any suggestions?
