I have been tapering off Phentermine for months now. I went from 37.5 mg a day to 30 mg a day for a month, then to 15 mg a day for a month, then 15 mg every other day for a month. I have three more weeks left and I'm getting worried about what's happening. Feeling hungry, a little gain, but it's under control, for now...). Has anyone else gone through this coming off of Phentermine and how did it go for you overall? ## I have never been on this medication, so I can't speak from person experience. However, I can tell you that when stopping a medication, it can be normal to experience some rebound effects, according to FDA reports, along with hunger, they might include cravings, loss of energy, and headache. I take Verapamil for high blood pressure and was recently prescribed Phentermine. Are they safe to take together? ## There is nothing listed against using them together, however, your doctor should be keeping a close eye on your blood pressure while you are using the Phentermine, since it is an Amephetamine class medication and can cause blood pressure issues for some people. Side effects can include: nausea, irritability, headache and insomnia. Have these both been prescribed by the same doctor? ## So I was on Phentermine since the end of October and had to stop taking it because my blood pressure went up. I still had half a bottle and a refill gone to waste. Has anyone else experienced this? So bummed.

I was taking Phentermine 37.5 mg for a couple months and lost about 20lbs. The doctor I was seeing is no longer prescribing the pill. I have been on Phentermine for a couple years and have noticed after eating my face gets hot and flushed. I have been tested for lupus along with other autoimmune diseases. The only one that came back a little high was rheumatoid arthritis. I stopped taking it and everything seemed to go back to normal. I had stopped for a month and a half. I started again and within 3 days my face was back to getting flushed and hot after meals. I could eat something as simple as a salad and it would happen. Sometimes, once our bodies get used to a medication, it stops working as well for us and we need to make a dosage adjustment, or try a different medication, entirely. Have you informed your doctor of the problem? The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, insomnia, and anorexia. ## Same happened to me. I found online that if you drink water with lemon it helps. There are articles on this. Just google phentermine and lemon juice. ## This happened to me and my doctor prescribed topimax along with it and it worked together and started working again.

I have bought Disebsin Fentermine 37 mg in Mexico a few times. They were from Nutrimedi SA de CV. They have been round, white, embossed with markings on one side and a score line on the other. Last trip to Mexico I again went to a Pharmacy and now the pills are white, round but thinner with no markings and no score line. The bottles were sealed and have the exact wording on the bottles as the old pills. However they expire in March 2014. I have been taking 1/2 of a 37.5 mg phentermine for about a month now. I have lost 10 lbs and am extremely excited about this. However today while at work my nose started dripping as if it was bleeding. However it was not warm like blood, it was cool just as if my nose was runny. The strange part was it was rust colored, it almost seemed like it was mixed with blood. It only dripped a few times and when I blew my nose there was only a small amount left in there but this happened twice today.
