I found two white oblong cap lets with 300 C imprinted. Nothing on the back. Could you help me identify what they are. ## Hi Shroom, Would you describe the C as being a logo of some sort, or just a normal looking capitol C? As of yet, the closest match I'm seeing on the internet is a white oblong pill with "300" on one side and blank on the other. But no sign of the letter "C" next to it. This particular tablet contains 300mgs of Quetiapine Fumarate; marketed for its use in treating schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, & depression. Also, depending on where you found them, they could potentially be something that originated from another country outside of the US. Reason I say this is because it is usually fairly easy to identify US-based pharmaceutical meds. And to ...

When will 50 mg of quetiapine fumarate expire once the prescription is filled? ## Based on my research, Quetiapine fumarate has an expected shelf life of 36 months (or 3 years). However it's come to my knowledge from a Harvard Medical School family health article, that most medications can last up to 10-15 years without expressing many signs of degradation or loss in potency. So you shouldn't have any problems using it later down the road as long as it's stored properly. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Quetiapine Details I hope this helps! ## I was given a prescription of 100 mg seroquel in 2009 i stopped taking and have 1-bottle unopened still has safety seal on it. I was wondering what kind of pill I found. It is a bright yellow, round pill, about the size of a dime, with a coating on it and an imprint of 903. ## I located a small round yellow pill with 904 on one side and blank on the back. Judging from the image I see, there appears to be a coating on it. I don't know if there's any chance you may have misread the imprint, but hopefully this helps narrow down the possibilities... At any rate, it's reportedly identified as a 100mg Quetiapine fumarate tablet, used for anxiety, bipolar disorder and other related conditions. For verification, the pill I'm describing is made by Sun Pharmaceutical and carries a National Drug Code of 47335-0904. Please post back if you have any further thoughts on this... ## What I s a yellow coated rou...

A 26 year old male, previous drug abuser (don't know what drugs) was admitted to a psychiatric unit for over a month, tried to commit suicide, jumped off a bridge, but survived, is now into going to the gym big time and protein drinks. He has an obnoxious attitude, dirty bedroom, keeps himself clean, very bolshie and verbal if confronted by his elderly parents. He panicked at the potential loss of 41 pale yellow tablets (with 5 on one side and nothing on the other) when I cleaned his room. The tablets were in a plastic sandwich bag which he claimed were his quetiapine prescribed meds, but I don't think so. Can anyone help identify them? ## These are 5mg generic valium tablets. My Doctor prescribed this med. for sleeplessness. About three weeks later I felt pressure in my head, felt faint, short of breath, or like a very bad hang over, or like I've been poisoned. Plus a high rise in blood pressure. I don't drink or do illegal drugs. I stopped taking the drug and feel 90% better. The only thing is I can't sleep now, I get about 2 hrs a night. ## I've been taking seroquel/quetiapine. What can i do for sleep when I'm not taking these drugs? ## Take Diphenhydramine. It's OTC and safe. ## I've been on quetiapine for the last 4 years. If I continue taking quetiapine for my entire life does it become harmful or cause any side effects? I have recently been prescribed quetapine for sleeplessness-- 50 mg per night. It is functioning perfectly. I get 8 hours of sleep and don't wake up feeling drugged. My wife has approximately 100 pills (200mg) which are from an outdated prescription ("discard after 5/11"). What is the shelf life of quetiapine? Besides the possible diminished potency of 1/4 of 200mg per night, are there any other issues with my usage? I have used that dosage (1/4 of her old 200mg pills) a couple of times and experience no difference in effect. Anything wrong with continuing? ## Hello, Barry! How are you? From what I've been able to find via the FDA, this isn't one that gets dangerous once it's expired, but it does start to lose potency. Thus, it would really be best to just dispos...

Hi, I'm Jeremy from South Africa, I was diagnosed with Clinical Depressive Disorder, and my doctor put me on Nuzak 20mg for the past month. I think 2 weeks into the month, seeing that my sleeping patterns, paranoia and anxiety levels weren't norming he put me on Dopaquel 25mg (to increase dosage every 7 days till 200mg, I'm currently on 100mg ). I've been on both now for quite some time now but my only concern is I've gotten to a level where I think I've built a tollerence for both these drugs and no longer feel the effects them (cause my sleeping patterns have decreased once more). I'm too concerned about this, what advice can I kindly get? ## What time period do you consider as being on them for quite some time? It usually takes about 4 to 5 weeks for both ...

I have had issues with Lupin's bupropion XL, and now it seems I am having issues with Lupin's quetiapine. It seems like everything they make is full of side effects. After starting quetiapine 100 mg instant release (sorry I don't know the manufacturer), I noticed I would fall instantly to sleep. Now that I am taking Lupin's quetiapine 300 mg, I have insomnia. That really doesn't make sense, because quetiapine is such a strong sedative, especially 300 mg instant release. I have even taken 100 mg of trazodone on top of 300 mg of quetiapine, and I am still not sleepy. I sleep until 11 am, I don't feel rested at all, and can't wake up in the morning without 5-6 alarms. I've also had issues with weight gain (normal), binge eating and eating cravings (normal), ...

My brother has been put on this and started having seizures. Want to know more about it, whether these are possible side effects? ## That can be a possible side effect of this medication, according to the FDA reports, although it isn't a common one. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, weight changes, and pancreatitis. It could be that this is not the right medication for him to take, and he may need to try something else. Has he discussed the situation with his medical provider?

used for pain? ## Have you checked the page for drugs by letter: <a href= ? I am not sure which medication you are refering to. ## I am not placing a medication that sounds like this that is used to treat pain. The closest I can think of is Quetiapine, which is used to treat various mental health conditions. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, and weight changes. Another one I can think of Klonopin, which is a benzodiazepine that's used to treat anxiety, and nervous disorders. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, irritability, and nausea, Do either of these sound familiar?
