Travel With Forteo

Updated

Hi . I will be going on a trip to Honduras next month. I have the travel cooler to transport it there. But the hotel in the town I'll be at doesn't have refrigerators in the rooms. I've been looking for a way to keep it cool while I'm there for 10 days. I've looked on line for small medication coolers for meds like Insulin.. I have found 2 different products, but range in price from $55-90. Has anyone had any experience using these? Or have any suggestions for something else? thanks

Hi, Sharon!

Have you tried contacting the hotel?

Though they don't have refrigerators in the rooms normally, many of them do keep small ones on hand for patrons that may need them due to medical issues, such as this.

Learn more Forteo details here.

It may be worth checking with them, before you invest in one.

thank you for the suggestion... I already e-mailed the pastor we'll be working with, and he said there would be a refrigerator for my medicine.
