What Country Is This Sertraline Manufactured In

What country is my sertraline hcl 50 mg tab manufactured in? It says Cipla USA INC... Why can't I get a straight answer before I put this in my body!?

If it is listed as being manufactured by Cipla USA, then it is manufactured in the USA (America).

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, and weight gain.

My daughter is trying desperately to find a pharmacy in her area who can fill a script for Sertraline 50 mg , that is manufactured in the USA only. She is on Aurobindo and hasnt been feeling quite right since Greenstone doesnt manufacture or supply any longer, no China either please. She lives in Edison, NJ. If you please help find a usa pharma who makes and distributes in the usa and which pharmacies are supplied this. Thanks

I read that Cipla brand of sertraline is manufactured in India by Cipla, Ltd. for Cipla USA. So it's imported from India, labeled "Cipla USA" in U.S. and distributed by a company in Florida - making it appear to pharmacists that it is made in USA. But it's not really. I also would be very grateful to know of any bioequivalent generic or one with same "recipe" like Greenstone made since Pfizer has made it impossible to take brand name (unless you are able to pay $900/mo. for higher dose, which was prescribed by M.D. and was life-saving huge help. Very scary to risk messing with a good thing that worked so well when I just want to stay functioning and getting things done!!

I am disgusted with how difficult it is to find out where a prescribed medicine is manufactured. This is ridiculous. I, also, would like to know where cipla sertraline is manufactured.

I believe i have received sub potent sertraline. It worked for me for years but know that not all batches are created equal.
