What Over The Counter Medication Can Cause False Positives

I am clean but probation says i tested positive for Methamphetamine. what med or combination could have caused it?

I have heard that sudafed (pseudo ephedrine) can cause false positives for meth. Google it and see what you come up with but I have heard this more times than I can count. I don't have any experience since I never take cold/sinus medication. Too many I am allergic to so I stay away from all of them. Good luck and let me know what you find out. It's crazy, but it seems the more "scientifically correct" these drug screens get the more false positives come back for various drugs. Its not fair to a lot of people and you would THINK your doctor would know about other drugs that can generate false positives.....but, they don't seem to know or they just don't care. You can have clean urine for years and one time it comes back dirty and the docs, etc, treat you like a liar! Not fair at all!

Is there any mandated information that proves tramadol gives a false positive for methadone to present to probation officers, and will fit her lab tests clear.it up?

I have an auto immune disorder and got a positive test (mouth swab) for methamphetamine but I take numerous drugs like Prozac, celexia, amatripylyin, flexerail, plus I took some over the counter Col med, a lil day quil and rubed Vicks on me and had the Vicks vapo running, plus over the counter creams for my rashes. They took my kids and I was a user but of coke and have been clean for three years. Can u pls help

If true on clean? Have them take hair or blood. Drug court and friends ie. . u.a po? Dnt like that challenge. Esp provin them wrong

All of these answers are wrong. Let me guess? Do you get heartburn? Take Zantac or a generic version of it? That's what's doing it. Call Zantacs parent company and ask to speak to a nurse. Record the call though bc they will not send u any info, only will tell you or if ur dr calls them, they will tell them. I pray there is a class action against them someday. It has caused me some horrible distress.
