Ive been taking adderall for over four years now and today out of the blue I get a call to come in Monday for a pill count and urine. I never had to do this before is this a new policy everywhere or am I being targeted? I have no problem going in but it screws up my work day now I have to figure out how to leave eArly. Today I went to probation to submit to my twice weekly urinalysis test. They told me that I have been coming up positive for methamphetamine the last few tests. They said they let it slide due to the fact that I take Adderall. Is this common in an instant drug test? Will I be vindicated in the send away lab test? No, I have never used meth- ## Yes, it is very common on those types of tests, when you take Adderall for it to cause a false positive for Methamphetamine. I really don't think you have anything to worry about, as it seems they are well aware of it and are not penalizing your for it in any way. Learn more Adderall drug details here. I was born with manic-depression as was my mother, her grandmother, my brother and my daughter. The ONLY medication that gets me out of bed and on my feet and out the front door is amphetemine salts. I do not have a thyroid gland, have chronic fatigue syndrome and have never had energy which made even drying myself off with a towel a chore because the towel was so darn heavy. I am 55 years old. When I do not take amphetemine salts, within one day I have withdrawn from the world as we know it. I am a high school teacher and I cannot miss day after day due to depression so debilitating that I'm afraid to get out of bed. I took one 20 mg aderhal on Thursday will I pass my saliva test on Monday ## It's rather difficult to say, Adderall contains mixed amphetamine salts and they are usually detectable in a saliva test for about 5 days, after last dosing. i take 20 mg of adderal 4x day..and it comes up as a postiv for meth.. ive neer touched that s*** in my life...how can i prove my that the test cme up as false positive for meth...i see this is starting to be a problem with alt ofother add users... people have lost jobs by taking there medication that have ben prescribed by doctors... my doctor tests me at his office and it has come up as meth..ive been on adderal for a very long time and this has happen about three times...so yes I know that it comes up as a false positve for,meth at times.... and thats a big word... The adderall I found is orange with 30 with a score in the middle. Dose anybody know the Inactive Filler To Active Ingredient Ratio Of Adderall Xr. Caps got damp emptied lots of little orang balls from multiple caps into a small dish and need to know how much a dose should weigh. And tess I have a mg scale. ## Your best course of action might be to just open and weigh one of the other capsules that didn't get damp, but that's not going to be exactly precise and could alter your dose, which might be dangerous. I live on Minnesota and can't find another Doctor who will prescribe ADHD medication. Its been almost 4months and the piles are forming, appointments are being missed or late for or forgotten. I don't smoke much but today I hit a bong for the first time in years, I overdid it and was very high but then a half hour later i took half a 20 of adderal, Which I donuse often, and I tripped for almost three hours hard. Never had that happen before. And I know adderall and such so ever ward of this any ideas? no insurance need coupon for Adderall xr 5mg ## I'm sorry, but there are no current coupons available for this and the manufacturer, Shire Pharmaceuticals, no longer offers an assistance program for any forms of Adderall. Have you discussed it with your doctor? There are generic formulations available of the regular release formulation.

I HAVE ONLY BEEN TAKEN ADDERALL TAB 10 MG 1 TAB 1 X DAY FOR A MONTH. CAN NOT REACH MY DOCTOR, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE STEP DOWN PROCEDURE TO STOP TAKING THE ADDERALL. ## Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. I don't know however if Adderall would fall into this category of medications that can be taken in fractioned doses. For this, I'd actually recommend asking your local pharmacy or primary care physician; because the severity of withdrawing from any drug is largely dependent on the individual's heal...
