I have used PREMSYN PMS over the counter for several years now and there was a time when I could buy it anywhere, but now it is so hard to find. Why is this product so hard to find in stores? ## Premsyn PMS contains Acetaminophen, Pamabrom and Pyrilamine. There are several places online that offer it and I can't find anything about it being discontinued, so it may be that some stores have just stopped carrying it. The same ingredients can be found in several other products, including Midol PMS, Menstrual PMS and quite a few generics and store brands. Have you tried just asking your pharmacist to help you find an equivalent? ## You can buy a generic form of this pill at Dollar General for just a few dollars. It is exactly the same. Good Luck ## I love this product. I used to buy at C...

My husband is prescribed tramadol, he takes 50mg tablets, 1 pill 4 times daily. But for the last 2 months they said his urine test at the Dr is negative for tramadol. He has taken them every day as prescribed for 2 years as part of his pain regiment for his auto immune diseases. The doctor said if his lab work next month is negative of tramadol again, he will dismiss him as a patient. My husband has 5 auto immune diseases and it took 3 years to get to a doctor who could figure out what was going on and get him on treatments. If he's dismissed, he will lose his biologics treatment for the illness, not just pain relief. Does anyone know why his tramadol is not showing up in the lab work??? I'm at a loss! ## 2 possible reasons...Someone is swapping out his meds with a look-alike or...

My toxicology test is showing a benzodiazepene when all I'm taking is Melatonin? I don't get it, you can get melatonin over the counter since it's a natural supplement. ## @SaviorFaire, I find this occurrence to be very unusual considering that melatonin is completely unrelated and would even go so far as question if anyone might've had the opportunity or a reason to try and pollute your sample before the tox report? Given the circumstances it may be a good idea to request a re-evaluation via Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) to achieve what I'd imagine to be the most accurate results. If the GC-MS proves otherwise, then it should be a wake up call to the inefficiency of standard toxicology procedures. Please keep us posted if everything gets straightened ...

I've been taking approximately 6g of kratom every 4 to 6 hours for about 2 years now. I want to use a weight loss medication which contains naltrexone but wonder if it will cause withdrawal sickness because of my kratom use? ## Hi, I am in the same boat as you. Have not been using Kratom that long (about 6 months) but want to start Contrave for weight loss. I am also hoping the naltrexone will help me not use the Kratom anymore as I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to quit for a few weeks now. I think it will help with that but my concern now is that I will go into extreme withdrawals when I take the first dose. Did you end up taking yours? ## Personally, I think it would be best to consult a doctor for the purpose of setting up a tapering schedule with kratom in order to lessen an...

I'm looking for a psychiatrist in the Oklahoma City area who is willing to prescribe xanax or meds like it. I have severe anxiety with crippling panic attacks and have tried almost every other med out there but everything else seems to either not work or make it worse. Being that I'm a young person doctors tend to be reluctant to prescribe me meds like that so any help would be greatly appreciated. ## dr. James gilbert, psychiatrist Dr. maria kane, psychiatrist Dr. john yang, MD Dr. Shanna molina, psychiatrist that should be a good start ## Bad news dr. Maria Kane lost het license to practice medicine. I live in Dallas now. When I lived in Oklahoma City I went to her office on Classen Boulevard. Seen her a couple times. Yes I got my Valium. But she was not keeping accurate recor...

I just found Rumoquin NF at Mexipharmacy. They don't seem to take credit cards, but offer other ways to buy. I've been taking Arthrotec 75 for about 14 years for arthritis all over my body. My pain seems to respond favorably to diclofenac and Arthrotec 75 contains misprostol as well, a stomach protectant. However, I ran out when last in Mexico and was sold Rumoquin NF at a farmacia. The diclofenac worked its wonders, but the additional ingredients, dexamethasone and methocarbamol, seem to potentiate the relief. Rumoquin NF is also orders of magnitude cheaper and I generally need take only one per day. Win/win. ## i would like to order some of the rumoquin how much is it? im from sacramento, ca ## Stacey, try mexipharmacy. Rumoquin NF is not easy to find, but seems to be sold pri...

Tribedoce compuesto - I was told this Mexican pill would help relieve pain in my legs. I walk three miles daily and it has helped or its my imagination. What is the pill used for? Is it safe? ## I am needing to get a hold of a medicine called Tribedoce. I am unable to go to Mexico to get it. How can I get the medicine to me, or can I find one similar to it in the US? ## I have not seen Tibedoce in the US, but I have used it 5 years for my sciatic nerve. It contains B12,B1,B6 and diclofenaco for the inflamation. It works. I use it everytime my sciatic nerve acts up. Your sciatic does run down you leg this could be why it helps your legs. The doctor had prescribe the diclofenaco by itself for my back but it would upset my stomach. when I found the Tribedoce I told a friend and she said sh...

My pharmacy recently switched to a round orange Suboxone with the numbers 970 on it and it burns my mouth pretty bad and doesn't seem to be as effective as my old ones. Has anyone else had this problem? Why does it burn? ## Hello OhioKing, Sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble with your medication. I was taking a look into it and I've read a couple of other users that said they had a similar experience. It seems that most of these stories boiled down to either an allergic reaction or that their doctor had them taking too many dosages a day and that in the end the doctor had them go from 4x a day to 2x a day. Either way I suggest that you consult your doctor immediately in case it turns out to be an allergic reaction to the medication. Burning of the mouth is definite...

Has anybody tried the very recently circulating Galenika rivotril with the new packaging design? It has a ton of writing on it. Is this just rebranding or are they useless? I used to really feel them when the strips had less writing on them, so now I'm unsure if its rebranding packaging or bunk boxes. I'm nervous to try so i bought just one box. So if they're bad I'm not losing a ton. My pharmacy has always gotten top quality everything. Boxed. Metallic seals, paperwork, etc. I've never had a bad prescription filled. Even the bensedin I'm getting are still top notch but now he has these new strips in stock. Anyone tried them? NO BS. ONLY GENUINE SIMPLE REPLIES on if they taste minty, take effect slowly as meant to, how they dissolve etc. And again, is the extra w...

My pharmacy cannot get this drug and cannot advise when it will be available even though the manufacturer claims there is no shortage. Any advice? ## Have you tried checking with other pharmacies in your area? Mounjaro is most commonly used to help control blood sugar levels. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. Ref: Mounjaro Information ## Having the same problem here in Georgia. ## I am unable to refill my Mounjaro script and find there is a manufacturing shortage. It is not clear if the shortage will be relieved by the end of this week (Fri 3/22/24) for the 7.5 mg dose. I am told it is a nationwide shortage. Is this true? Hello. I am 16 months post epclusa and feel worse than when I started. I was a server for over 40 years. Full of energy. Then hep c happened. I had epclysa for 12 weeks. Now I am in bed most of the tune from no energy. My ears are ringing. I feel deflated. Anyone else feel like this? My hep c nurse waived off my complaints. ## Hi Kathleen, I really feel for you, I finished Epclusa a year ago and like you I've had so many side effects l can hardly walk most afternoons due to leg joint pain. I get exhausted so easily, nausea, numb toes/fingers; probably a circulation problem. I did not have any of these problems pre-treatment. I've also got Edema on my legs and my stomach is really swollen. I feel so uncomfortable and unbalanced. If I mention this to the hep C liver people they ju...

Someone in another thread here wrote that their father takes four 2mg Clonazepam to get to sleep. He's having problems because he is taking Amitriptyline at the same time. Well the answer is in the question. Don't take either. Clonazepam is not a hypnotic sleeper. Amitriptyline isn't either. The latter is just rubbish to get you out of surgery and Clonazepam is a strong Benzo that helps prevent seizures in Epilepsy. Halcyon is/was a great sleeping pill. Flurazepam and Flunitrazepam allowed in Sweden is another. Phenobarbital, Tunal, and Temazepam are not so good but are a hypnotic. I hope this helps anyone else who may be seeking alternative sleep aids.

I recently received Teva clonazepam and it worked great. Two weeks ago, I received clonazepam from Accord Pharmaceuticals and it was like a placebo pill. Has anyone taken this medicine By Accord and have you noticed a serious difference with it not helping? I've never had a generic never work before. I don't know what to do. All pharmacies in my area are now going with Accord Pharmaceuticals because it's cheaper. Help with an answer please. ## Hello Stirfry, Sorry to hear about your situation. I was prescribed Dilaudid 2mg every 6 hours as needed for pain after being in the hospital for 5 days getting it through an IV every 2 hours as needed.... The pills I was prescribed were 4mg and I cut them in half.... Am I at serious risk if I take a whole pill for severe pain??? I am embarassed to ask my doctor in fear that he will think I am an addict trying to get a cheap high. This is not the case however. I actually am not a fan of taking pills at all, not even tylenol. The pain is almost unbearable. What do I do??? ## 4mgs is not a dangerous dose, though it is really strong and if you aren't used to taking medications, it will probably hit you very hard and you'll experience more of the side effects. Since it is a potent narcotic, they can include: nausea, drowsiness, dizz...

I was taking alendronate 70MG 3 month ago, but this week I got a lot of side effects such as: diarrhea, abdominal & stomach pain, heartburn, general feeling of discomfort or illness, full or bloated feeling. I just ordered 3 more months but with those severe side effects, I'm planning to quit. ## Hello, Steve! How are you? Those can be normal side effects of this medication, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience headache, dizziness and joint/muscle aches. Have you consulted your doctor? There are other medications that you can try to see if they don't cause you as many problems. ## I was on Alendronate for 20 years and have been suffering from side effects for 3 years off it.

I was on amlodipine medicine for at least two and half years and I have gone through a real hell. It all started with dry cough. I thought like any other medicine the side effect will wear off, but it didn't. Then after a year later came back pain and it really got worse. I never thought that it was the side effect from this medicine. It went on for two and half years before I realized. I was running around town to get my back pain solved. I must have had more than 50 sessions of physio and chiro. I saw that I wasn't getting anywhere and I started doing some research on computer. After reading so much on this medicine, I went to my doctor and told her to change my medicine. It has been almost three weeks and I already see that there is a big change in my back. My Rite Aid closed so I had my medicine filled at CVS in Arizona. Found out they haven't sold Soma in a few years. Safeway told me a year. Yet Kroger & Walmart sell it. I've just lost 6 months worth. Has anyone tried these generic Modafinil and Armodafinil meds who can compare them to U.S. prescription brand name or generics? I know 2 of them are made by Sun pharma. I've had Sun pharma generic Adderall which was utter crap and another generic of theirs that seemed weak so no faith in them. The other is produced by HAB pharma which is another Indian company. Nothing against India in general, just their pharmaceutical industry culture is really bad and make cheap drugs often resulting in weak versions. ## Modafinil If I remember correctly when I took this it was for MS fatigue It did nothing for the extreme fatigue it was suppose to help . for me it was just another junk med thrown at me I tried taking it for a month with so much hope huge let down. ## Been a while.
