Alprazolam Odt

Hi guys!

No, I’ve been taking this medication for almost 10 years and it’s only recently come to my attention that there is a ODT or orally dispensing tablet version of this medication and I’m wondering if anybody has any experience with it because with my panic disorder it’s difficult waiting the hour for my pillow to come on whereas I feel like this would happen much quicker. Please let me know if anybody’s had any experience and what their thoughts are.

Also, if you have had experience, does insurance cover it the same as regular alprazolam?

Very expensive compared to regular Xanax pills. It would depend on your Insurance whether its covered or not. Do you not find that the pills start to work in 10 minutes to an hour?

Nah they take like an hour to work. And I figured the ODT are designed for quick acting because my panic disorder causes rapidly onset panic attacks

I take regular alprazolam & when I need it to kick in fast i just hold it under my tongue for a but before I swallow it. It tastes gross but it works fast.
My doctor recommended that for when I need fast action.
