I HAVE BEEN TAKING GENERIC ADDERALL which has always been called amphetamine salts. My last script instead of saying amphetamine salts substituted for adderall it says amphetamine salts substituted for amphetamine salt combo? What's this mean? ## Hello, Mary! How are you? Can a Medrol dose pak show up positive for methamphetamine on a drug test? ## I really could use a nice easy answer. What are some of the most common over the counter products that get people in trouble with the drug test showing up as an amphetamine or methamphetamine? I would love to have a list of that. I took a pre-employment drug test today and I'm about 99% sure they get flagged for a AMP or it could be MEP. This drug has very strange side effects for me. Worst part is I have actually gained weight. I am suspecting this is due to the bloating because I have been eating low cal and exercising. I wake up in a serious haze. I have taken 3 pills and am not continuing -sad because the drug is expensive. Will aderral and ritalin show up as the same thing in a drug test. I have a ptescription for ritalin and ran out. A friend gave me one of his aderral and took it on sat and have a drug test monday. I took a drug test at work and it shows positive for amphetamines and methamphetamines and I don't do illegal drugs. I take latuda, pristiq, neurontin, sudafed, adderall, nasal spray at times, bc powder, and vitamins. How is this even possible? I am an adult female who does not have ADHD or ADD. I just wanted to lose 20lbs. My Doctor prescribed IC AMPHETAMINE SALTS 20 MG TABLET 2 times a day. So now I am starting out with half a tablet once a day because I do drink an energy drink that is actually healthy for you and does not make you jittery or crash like most energy drinks do. Can I cut amphetamine salts 20mg tabs in half? My 14 yr old was given this by her doctor after being diagnosed with ADD. So I gave her one in the morning and she called me from school in the middle of day saying she was feeling dizzy and hyper. So I'm thinking maybe starting her off on half for a couple of weeks will help. These pills were widely used at that time prescribed by ggpas an appetite depressant. However they were abused by people who took more than the prescribed dose to gain affects similar to amphetamines (speed) was a song at time called "Im a Riker liker dont bring me down". ## I have round white pills that have NX on the other side and Riker on the other. Im thinking these are norflex? ## My boyfriend's parents have these "Riker" pills in their medicine cabinet and I can't remember the name of the first ingredient, but it has caffeine, tylenol and asprin along with one other ingredient. I have been on 20 mg amphetamine salts 4 x a day for over 3 yrs. I think I need my dose increased to 30 mg 4 x day . I've been wanting to discuss this with my doctor for a while now but something else is always wrong and I've been forgetting everything again if I don't write it down!! I have noticed that by taking the amphetmine salts (adderall) for many years, my memory has deteriorated. I am 45 years old and that should not be. Has any testing been done to know if I am correct? It is strange. I am focusing & memory is strong w/the medication in my system, but as soon as it wears off, memory is very bad. ## It is most likely due to the withdrawal of it wearing off, according to NIH reports. Other withdrawal effects may include nausea, fever, chills, and anxiety. That is generally how it works with any stimulant medication. What dosage are you currently taking? I have been on adderall XR for several years now and it has always worked great. Recently my pharmacy switch me to the generic form, Amphetamine Salts ER 30mg Cap. I am tired all the time now and I all I ever want to do is sleep. Is this normal?
