I am male 55 years and consuming two tablets of Tedral SA since last 30 years. During this period, I never faced any inconvenience and attack of asthma in any type of weather or circumstances. Now this tablet is not available in market. I need good substitution to this tablet with the same ingredients. ## From what I understand, there is NO substitute for the old Tedral formulation. Tedral contained some phenobarb, which helped, but didn't really work, to neutralize the stimulant side effects of theophylline and ephedrine. Ephedrine isn't available anymore and the combo of those two drugs caused "speedy" feelings. It's more typical that you'd be prescribed a rescue inhaler for acute asthma attacks (ProAir = albuterol is common) than any oral med. Works faster wit...

I am wondering about the side affects of the Theophylline? I have asthma, and have been suffering since thanksgiving with severe attacks. My doctor prescribed this, not sure it is helping. ## Theophylline can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, increased urination, increase in heart rate, abnormal heart rhythms, restlessness, headaches, insomnia, irritability, dizziness and lightheartedness.

## I have been a Nasal Crom user since Oct. o7. Began using it as a treatment of outdoor mold allergy. This was on my own. My allergy caused chest congestion, fast irregular heartbeat and Afib. This spray has been like magic. Nothing else had given me any relief. We live in Salt Lake City and it is terrible for outdoor mold. Even in the winter--it snows quits drys wind blows and I am in the doctors office. ## My husband just started using NasalCrom for chronic cough that he has had for years. The doctors had tried everything including sinus surgery, prescription sprays, mucinex, nasal rinses, etc. etc. The pulmonary doctor finally said he was giving up but to try NasalCrom. The cough stopped almost immediately. We feel it is truly a miracle after all these years of misery. ## Wow! I am ...

I have a large white oval pill with THEO-DUR 200 on one side and a split in the middle on the other side. Is this Oxycocone/apap? ## This tablet does NOT contain Oxycodone/APAP or any other opioid. It contains Theophylline 200 mg (NDC 0085-0933). ## Found a large white oval pill with theo-dur 700 on one side and a split in the middle on the other side ## Are you sure the imprint has "700" instead of "100"? I don't think Theo-Dur comes in 700 mg.

I was on a high dose of Symbicort for about 2 weeks then lost my voice. I have just quit taking the symbicort. I MUST have my voice for work- How long does it take to get Symbicort out of the system - thank you ## Are you certain the voice loss is related to the Symbicort? Has your doctor confirmed this? This is not a commonly reported side effect. However, if it was caused by the medication, most of them can take a month or so to process out of your body. ## Symbicort affected my voice as well. It took about 2 months before it completely returned. (I continued using it during that time.) ## use a spacer. ## I've been on Symbicort for 9 days and lost my voice after the the 5th day. It's coming back now, and I also continued the use of the Symbicort since it provided so much reli...

I am taking Xolair for autoimmune disease. I have told my doctor about my severe hair loss and he suggested that it is not because of the Xolair, but instead autoimmune response. I, of course, think it is because of the Xolair have I read a lot of what other people taking the drug have said. Is there any information I can point my doctor to in hopes of getting better/different treatment. ## Hello, Mel! How are you doing? I am very sorry about the problems that you're having. Your doctor just needs to look at the detail prescribing information. It is all listed in there among the side effect information. You may also experience nausea and fatigue. Does anyone else have any advice to add? ## Hi. I have been on xolair for 9 months. I started shedding 5 months in, and it hasn't stop...

When express scripts removed Advair from their formulary in 2014, my doctor put me on Symbicoet. I developed horrible muscle spasms in my legs. Now that I'm back on Advair these spasms have gone away ## Hello, Lynn! How are you? That is listed by the FDA as a possible side effect of Symbicort, it's resulted in some people having to stop using it, because they were so severe. I'm glad that the Advair is working better for you. Do you experience any side effects from it? Such as headache, nausea, diarrhea and dry mouth? ## I am on symbicort as well and the spasms in my legs and calves are awful, now I can make a connection after reading this

I have two pills capsule shaped with a line on one side and a P in a circle on the other they are white ## Let P in a circle on a white oblong shaped table, there is just a line on the other side, does anyone know what this is? ## Hi Craig, The closest match I've been able to is a round yellow pill with a P inside a circle (the circle is about the same circumference as the pill itself) and then a score line on the back. One source tells me that the pill I just described is Primatene (Ephedrine- 12.5 mg + Guaifenesin- 200 mg). However, there is another "P in circle logo" that I found an image of, and apparently it's the Pharmascience Canada logo. With the imprint being so vague it's hard to know for certain what the pill is... Where did you find it? Has anyone else se...

Found in overpacked purse. I have numerous autoimmune diseases,IBD, allergies, MCS, viruses, psoriasis. I have recently been to cataract surgery, GI doc, PCP, dermatologist. Which one may have given me the gastrocrom and how do I use it? ## I noticed barely legible print on the vial. It expired in 2001. I also researched gastrochrome and found it used for IBS as an anti inflammatory before NSAIDS were found more useful for IBS. I am allergic to all NSAIDS. I have very high inflammation markers. My thanks to all who read my post. ## It was probably your GI doctor that gave you the Gastrochrom. I was given it for collagenous collitis and mastocytosis of the colon. It does help with diarrhea. ## Pat is correct, Mastocytosis is what it is usually prescribed to treat. It can reduce such symp...

My allergist had me take a puff of Symbicort in his office. However, when I came home and looked online - it is a direct interaction with my BP Med (Propranolol). How long does it take this one puff to get out of my system!? ## I checked the interactions and there is one, but it's not really anything you need to concern yourself about unduly, it just has to do with the efficacy of the Symbicort and doesn't affect the workings of the Propranolol. Using the two together actually just decreased the efficacy of the Symbicort, so it doesn't work as well, because it doesn't have as much of a bronchodilating effect as it would otherwise. I hope this eases your mind. :-) How are you doing? ## I take symbicort and have a terrible cough...I'm wondering if this from using it? I...

I use a rescue inhaler but I cannot use it all the time and my doctor doesn't know that much about asthma inhalers and sulfate its a low income doctors office. So again any suggestions. No sulfate. What type of reaction do you have and how did you discover the allergy? These are all important details to determine what may or may not be safe for you to use.
