It is possible, the FDA does list it as being a side effect, along with dizziness, headache, increase urination, and hypotension. Has anything else changed, recently, such as the dosage? Adding another medication? Changing your diet, or activity levels?

I noticed tonight that it appears I have taken an extra dose of my bisoprolol but I'm not sure if it was today or not I take 2.5 MG per day and am 34 years old. I changed my BP drugs to Adco Bisocor - a small dose of 5mg a day for marginally raised BP. The previous drugs were causing hair loss and severe weight loss, as well as loss of appetite. At first the Adco Bisocor seemed fine - I've been on it about 4 years now. The hair loss and weight loss were almost totally reversed. However, I have now once again been losing weight, some hair, and have been extremely dehydrated to the extent that my mouth is almost too dry to speak. I am taking bisoprolol(concor1.25) for MVP. and eltroxin 25 mcg for hypothyroid disorder ..how long I can continue with this medicine. ## You should continue them for as long as your doctor deems them appropriate to treat your conditions. What is the difference between Bisoprolol Fumarate and Enderol? Both beta-blockers, that's all I know ## I have received no replies to my question so far. I reside in Alberta and am presently taking 10 mg/dy of Bisoprolol Fumarate. I have talked to others who suggested that Enderol is an equivalent drug that might be an alternative option. since i started taking this medication i find it very difficult to pass urine...is this normal?? ## Looks like this medication isn't manufactured in the US, but I was able to find the active ingredient to be Bisoprolol. Side effects for this drug are listed below (I believe one or more of these side effects can indirectly make it difficult to urinate): Overdose of Bisoprolol leads to fatigue, hypotension, low blood sugar, bronchospasms and bradycardia. Bronchospasms and low blood sugar because at high doses drug can be an antagonist for 2 adrenergic receptors located in lung and in liver. Bronchspasm due to blockage in lungs of 2 receptor and low blood sugar because of decreased stimulation of glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis in the liver via 2 receptor. Hi, I am a 34 year old male. For the last 2-3 years I had palpitations and 1-2 episodes of Spvt (or short Atrial fibrillation lasting 10-30 seconds) per Month. (My cardiologist said that based on my symptoms). I have done Ecg, Echo, holter and a stress test. All results were fine. I have been on bisoprolol for several months to control AFIB and hypertension. However, I do have asthma and have started wheezing and it does not go away. Metopolol did not work as well for the Afib. Is there another medication for the afib and blood pressure that would not cause the wheezing? ## Hello, Sani! How are you? Some of the other medications you can try include Carvedilol, Atenolol, Propranolol and Nadolol, however, they all risk causing the same side effects. It's really just a matter of trial and error to find which one works for you, without making you miserable.
