I have had headaches for about 30 years. I have been to many doctors and tried a dozen or so medications while spending well over $10,000 and having good insurance. Three years ago a neurologist proscribed Diclofinic pot 50. It worked like a charm! I was amazed. Now I get a letter saying effective 1/1/19 Humanna is not going to cover it, at all. Not put it another more expensive class but just not cover it at all. Does anyone know why? It’s not an opioid drug. They recommend Diclofinic sot? Never heard of it. Can someone please weigh in on this. I’m scared. ## Hello Kurtiss, According to the NIH Diclofenec pot 50 is simply a 50mg dose of diclofenac potassium, also known as cataflam. Looking on the NIH's list of medication there seem to be a large number of generics avail...

Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, taken to reduce inflammation and as an analgesic reducing pain in conditions such as arthritis or acute injury. I am personally not aware of how potent this drug is, but from my stand point I would suggest contacting your doctor about it's ineffectiveness to your needs. Can I take this tablet after meals as stomach pain is always there? ## Shailendr, no it should not be taken during pregnancy, unless your doctor has instructed you to take it. Vishv, it can cause stomach irritation as a side effect, according to NIH warnings, along with nausea, and headache. Have you seen a doctor regarding the stomach pain? I'm having muscle pain and swelling after a heavy workout in the gym. Can I take D Fresh Mr tablets for some relief? ## Hi Giru, Sorry to hear about how you're feeling. Sounds like you really got a great workout in to leave the gym so sore. From what I could gather, D Fresh Mr tablets reportedly contain a combination of Diclofenac 50mg and Paracetamol 500mg (also known as Tylenol). Diclofenac is a NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) and Paracetamol is a mild pain reliever, so my thinking is that it may help provide at least some level of relief depending upon how severe your muscle pain & swelling is. Hope you make a full recovery soon! ## Can I take a D Fresh MR tablet for sciatica pain in my right leg that I've had for the past 3 months? Please advise.

My doctor prescribed me this because I might have a tear in my meniscus. Diclofenac 75mg -2 times a day. My question is do I have to space it out by exactly 12 hours ? Or is it just a general idea? Do I wait until the next morning ? ## Hello Kris, I hope you are having a wonderful day. First I want to ask exactly what the instructions on your medication states. If it says to administer your medication twice a day but does not specify a time frame then you may be able to take it 8-9 hours apart. If it does say specifically on the administration medication that you should take them 12 hours apart I would suggest doing so, or at least as close to that time fram...
