My lower back pain is severe, I can only do some house work at 5 to 10 minutes till I have to sit down, and if I'm doing dishes I can lift my body us with my hands to give it some relief. I'm not sure if it is related but my pain now in my lower abdomen and shoulders with extreme pain. I have acquired some vicodine yesterday at least I think they are. I'm going to use a couple tomorrow when I'm doing my chores and TRYING to get dome restful sleep. I found a pill in my car that I believe belongs to my daughter. It is an oval pill, bilayer, white with red specks on one side and pink with a raised dot pattern on the other. Can anyone identify this pill for me? ## @WorriedMom, Interestingly enough, the only thing I'm seeing that even remotely resembles this on the internet, is a "V 35 91" generic Vicodin tablet made by Qualitest (which is white with red specs). I found a pill with V on one side and 22/66 on the other side. It's white and oval shaped, but i can see how similar it looks to the 500mg acetaminophen/hydrocodone tablet, BUT it is NOT vicodin! I have two pills that have different markings; one has "93" on one side and nothing on the other, both are white oblong pills second has number "142" on one side and, again nothing onn the other. they are the same size and color (white) as my previuos vicodin prescription? ## There are 2 possibilities for the one with the 142 marking. If it is an elongated oval, that is only rounded on the ends, so it's shaped more like a caplet, it's a 500mg Metformin tablet. If it's more of an egg shaped pill, then it contains 300mgs of Bupropion in a time released formulation. However, I can't find any results for the one with just a 93 on it. White oblong oval pill with marking 93-430 on one side and blank on the other; I think it is possibly a generic for Vicodin ## No, this is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals, they are the ones that use the 93 imprint, though they are phasing it out and they don't have any products on the market, at this time, that contain Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. I also can't find anything listed in their U.S. product catalog that has the number 430 on it, I also tried other variations. Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? I have been looking everywhere for the answer to my question & have not found it & I really need to know. I have been going to a pain management clinic now for 3 years. I have multiple herniated discs in my back causing stenosis. Anyways, I have been prescribed percocet 10/325 6x per day for the duration of my care with the clinic. The last appointment I had they drug tested me. I was not able to urinate so they gave me a saliva drug test. The weekend prior to my test I had run out early & was able to get some vicodin & oxycontin thru a friend to fill in so I wouldnt go thru withdrawal & be in pain the whole weekend. Is it vicodin 7.5mg? ## This tablet is manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals and they actually list it as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I know a man that gets prescribed pain killers from his doctor and sells the pills to people on the street so they can be high. I don't think his doctor is aware of what he is doing with the pills. Need help finding a doctor that will prescribe in Minnesota. I have been dealing with chronic back pain for many years. Ruptures my L5-S1 disk and it keeps getting worse. In the past, I have been on Vicodin, percocet, etc, and my quality of life was much better. But that doctor left. Over time, pain came back more and more, exercise decreased due to pain, quality of life is low. Tired of dealing with Chiropractors and such, and docs that only say stuff like "try Advil". Need something to help with the pain, so I can exercise and get some quality of life back. I live in the Twin Cities. The doctor said i was being prescribed vicodin but the bottle says "hydrod/apap 5/500 mallin". Is that the same as vicodin? ## Based on the abbreviation of hydrod/apap 5/500 that points to the active ingredients Hydrocodone 5 mg / Acetaminophen (APAP) 500 mg, which are the same ingredients as in Vicodin. Mallin is most likely referring to the manufacturer of the medication (Mallinckrodt?) - So yes, what you have is a generic equivalent of Vicodin. ## I thought it was same as norco. Need opinions for hydrocodone, specifically Vicodin 10-300 manufactured by Tris Pharma. I have had bad experiences with several generics of hydrocodone recently, like many people, the terrible headache & NO pain relief - such as white Watson & Mallinckrodt. White oval shaped pill with v365 markings. Are these 10mg. Vicodin? I'm not sure as they are old? Any idea what they are? ## M365 is supposed to be the real marking on a white oval 5/325 generic Vicodin tablet. If there is a cursive V instead of an M, then my guess would be that the manufacturer was none other than Vintage Pharmaceutical (now known as Qualitest). But if it's an M, then the manufacturer is Mallinckrodt. Perhaps it would be a good idea to contact either one of these manufacturers directly regarding this inquiry, just to cover all angles. Also, depending on where or how you came about getting this pill, it may even be a counterfeit (if not from a licensed pharmacy)... ## The v 365 is an old version of Vicodin, it was 5 mg hydrocodone 500 mg of tylenol
