I have been on percocet and percocet er. My doctor put me on wellbutrin for depression. Do these mix well together? Could some of the depression come from being on opiates for so long? ## Yes, opiates actually work as a depressant, according to NIH reports. Other side effects may including dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. However, there is no Percocet ER. What exactly where you taking? Was it Oxycontin? Can you please post back and clarify?

I am suppose to take 150 mg of Wellbutrin twice a day. I was also prescribed OxyContin 10 mg every 4-6 hours, along with OxyCodone 10mg every 4-6 hours (as needed). So, here is my problem. (Y, the Doctors do know that I am on all 3 of these meds together). I don't know how long I need to wait after taking a Wellbutrin before I can take an Oxy w/o running the risk of Seratonin Syndrome(?). Oxy doesn't make me loopy at all. It hypes me up like Adderall, and that's before I add a Wellbutrin. Can anyone help or advise. My Doctors just say a couple of hours. But, so far, 2 hours isn't working. Hi I am on Nuzak and feel I have no energy I stay tired. I am on Nuzak about 8months. I also have gained weight and eat less but still pick up weight. I was on wellbutrin before but went off and my Dr recommended me to go back on Nuzak. I struggle to get through the day and feel sleepy mostly. I also have no libido. Weekends I just want to rest to be able to cope for the week that lies ahead. I feel very exhausted and hate feeling this way. I am on a lot of meds for depression/anxiety. My p-doc started me on Wellbutrin, but all of a sudden, I couldn't walk straight, veered into walls, etc. and fell often. I'm in my upper 70s. My husband insisted this effect started with the Wellbutrin, and convinced my doctor that I have to taper off. Low and behold, about 2 days after stopping, the symptoms disappeared. Recently I started taking Wellbutrin SR (generic). I'm prescribed 100 mg twice daily. However, I've been taking been taking all 200 mg once a day in the morning. Ultimately, is the SR version still effective if only taken once a day? Why do people usually take it twice a day? Will I experience any disadvantages by taking it all at once? Today is my 8th day on Wellbutrin. I definitely feel SOME improvement. ## It is usually best to take it twice daily, as directed, due to the fact that its efficacy depends on it being maintained at a certain level in your body. Okay, I am hoping to get some help. I was on Pristiq 100 mg for the last three years. My insurance now is having a higher co-pay plus I have gained 25 lbs. So the PA switched my to Wellbutrin SR 150mg. It is day three and I feel awful. Very foggy and light headed. Well I found out from her nurse today, that I should not be having any caffeine when I take it. How long will this feeling last?? Anyone have words of wisdom. Will wellbutrin show up positive for methadone? ## I tested positive while in the hospital for Methadone. I didn't know what the drug was let alone never taking it. I have done my research and I was taking Wellbutrin at the time. They labeled me as an addict. ## Will wellbutrin cause a false positive in a hair follicle test? I just got out of jail and did not use, but was dirty for methamphetamine. I do take Wellbutrin. How does this happen? ## I don't know but it sure does. And causes a lot of undue stress. I take neurontin, wellbutrin, visteral, minipress, strattera and baclofen and I went to see my po and she said I tested positive for vicodin, benzodiazepines and amphetamines. I've been taking Wellbutrin for 7 years. Over the years my doctor has increased the dosage to combat the loss of effectiveness due to tolerance. Now, it no longer works. I'm bedridden, have stopped working and have trouble with activities that involve movement, like washing dishes. Doing laundry is a huge accomplishment. Anyway, I've been on imipramine for 7 years, a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) of the dibenzazepine group. Anyway, I'm curious about Selegiline, an MAO-B, (its also calledAnipryl, L-deprenyl, Eldepryl, Emsam, Zelapar). Has anyone tried it to boost Wellbutrin? How about something to boost acetylcholine? I had an emergency c-section and when my sons urine test came back it was positive for ecstasy. I have never even seen what Ecstasy looks like much less would I take it. Well now Dhr is investigating me and doesn't want to allow my baby to come home until they figure out what caused the false positive for ecstasy. I was prescribed wellbutrin throughout my pregnancy and still currently take it. Is wellbutrin known to cause a false positive for ecstasy? I am heartbroken my son can't come home. Wellbutrin may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, weight changes and dry mouth. Tranxene carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, irritability and headache. Taking Wellbutrin XL 300mg... Contemplating increasing the dose to 450mg Forfivo. Please share your Forfivo reviews. Thank you. ## They both contain the same active ingredient, so you'd just be changing your dosage. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and nervousness. I can't take this medication, I react badly to it. Does anyone else have major anxiety while taking Wellbutrin xl ? I started taking 300mg in September and it has lifted my depression immensely . But the anxiety is really getting bad and makes me question every decision I make in day to day life . I feel like I'm going crazy ! Anyone else have this issue or even advice /opinions would be helpful ! ## Unfortunately, the FDA lists anxiety as being one of the most common side effects that this medication is known to cause, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, and nervousness. Can I change from Camcolit to Wellbutrin as I have gained a lot of weight!!!!! I am on a high dosage in the morning and evening of Camcolit. I feel very unhappy about that . Hello, I'm not sure if this is common or not, over the last 4 or 5 years I was on wellbutrin off and on,(mostly on). In the past when I started up again, I always knew it was working because for the first roughly two weeks I would get all the common side effects: Insomnia,tremors, anxiety, even a little paranoia, and of course loss of appetite. After about 2 or 3 months I usually would loose a good 15 pounds or so while taking the medication. Do to an insurance issue I was off the medication for about year. Recently (almost 3 ago now), I started taking my usual dose of 300mg a day again. However, this time around I feel no side effects at all? I started on Wellbutrin XL 150mg 10 days ago, taking it at 9pm nightly with my Lamictal. I'm exhausted, irritable, and depressed in the evenings. I know it takes up to a month for the Wellbutrin to take full effect, so could the medication be wearing off around 7? I started Wellbutrin 150xl about 23 days ago to accompany my Lexapro for depression. I've had racing thoughts and overall anxiety which I reported to my doctor.
