My longtime pharmacy stopped carrying the Greenstone generic of Xanax. How could I find another local pharmacy that does carry them?

The brand u r describing is greenstone, so ask the pharmacy if they can order it for u. Or as the other reply says they asked a Walmart to do so for them and they were kind enough to do so. Hope this helps.

Hi, im in Columbia S.C. and i've been on Xanax over 15 years now. I was seeing only 1 Dr. and he retired without notice all of a sudden. Im used to the ones with the G3720 bc its the kind Ive always taken. I had a hard time finding a Dr after this who would help get my meds started again, it took a very long time and I moved to Columbia SC and cannot seem to locate any pharmacy here who has this type. Ive been everywhere. Im now taking the 0.5 GG257 peach but they are not at all the same. I beleive im taking Sandoz brand. I would absolutely greatly appreciate it if someone, anyone could help me out and tell me who I should go to... Who carries this specific kind. It's G3720 peach oval. Theres such a difference in the Brands and I noticed it right off. I want my regular kind back. I appreciate any and all info on this matter. Thank you so much... Please remember im in Columbia SC. Appologies for the letter I just wrote, I dont go online very much, still trying to get the hang of it. Anyway, thanks so much again... God Bless

I also take xanax and will only settle for greenstone brand being that I've tried all generics. Greenstone is also a subsidiary company of Pfizer/Upjohn which is who makes the name brand xanax. Some "not too smart" people say oh the yellow ones are best or green ones color means absolutely nothing. Anyhow if there's a K-Mart in your area that is who I have order my Greenstone brand for me.

The Doctor can't specify what brand of generic Xanax is to be ordered? That is between the pharmacy and their distributer. The doctor can specify the brand name version of the medicine is to be filled however your insurance company may not pay despite what is ordered

Your doctor can write you the proper paper work for a pharmacy to order that specific medications you need and the pharmacy should comply.

I'm sorry, but the only thing you can really do is ask at the various pharmacies, but you'll need to go in person, with your prescription in hand. If you just call, they have no way of knowing if you're a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief, so they won't give you an accurate answer.
