In Michigan is it near Macomb co? Plz send me info for the dr. I was previously on Ritalin, stopped for several years, but my adhd has really been making my life a lot harder lately.

I would like it also. I am an adult previously prescribed Ritalin as a young kid/teen...stopped taking it bc I didn't feel it was helping me, but now as I have gotten older it seems like my memory, attention span, & concentration on one thing has gotten progressively worse (I'm only 40). I was hoping to get my adhd (diagnosed very young by a psych), back on track and be able to think clearer (I don't drink or smoke, etc). If you wouldn't mind sharing, I really don't want to go to a psych Dr again unless necessary...

The Doctor who prescribed mine was Dr Joseph. He is in Troy Michigan. I hope that helps. Where was your old Doctor located?

Hi Tony, I switched Doctors last month to find out my New Doctor will not prescribe. I am on it 3xs a day and am due for my refill on the 26th. Can you please help me find a Doctor? Thank you so much.

My Dr prescribed Adderall for me a few years back. His name was Dr. Robert Garcia. As soon as my Blue Cross minimums wouldn’t meet his fee he dropped me like a dirty shirt. I am ADHD and have been since childhood. I just didn’t know it until I was put on Adderall, which made me feel normal for the first time in my life. If you could see your way clear to provide me with your physician's information, I would appreciate that immensely. Thank you. {edited for privacy}.

I'm also looking for a doc who will prescribe. I was leaving work and was the victim of a distracted driver (I was a pedestrian walking to the lot where my car is) and I've been unable to focus and concentrate since then. Thank you!!!

Hi I just moved from Florida to Detroit for school. I was originally diagnosed with ADD and prescribed adderall by a psychiatrist. When he retired my general practitioner wrote the prescriptions for me. Any info on a doctor in the Detroit area would be greatly appreciated

I just moved here from Boston market and work a lot on top of school having ADHD. The energy isn't a problem but the staying calm and focused is. Could you send me this drs info if it's near Livonia mi please. Thank you

Supermom76 - Your best bet is to see a psychiatrist and get a diagnosis + prescription. If you shop around for primary care physicians who will prescribe you the medicine, you're risking being labeled as a drug seeker. That label will ensure you never receive Adderall or any other controlled substance if you ever need it. It's not fair that those of us who genuinely need the medicine to function get treated like drug addicts, but that is how the dea chooses to see us. I really hope you're able to get the pharmacological help you need, though.

Oakland Psychology Clinic. They have 6-10 locations throughout Metro Detroit. You have to meet with one of their psychiatrists. If they diagnose you with it they refer you to their in-house doctor who then decides the best medication for you. You need to genuinely have ADHD. You cant just walk in and ramble off symptoms and leave with a script. You have to see their psychiatrist at least 1x/month and they work with you to help develop better habits.

They were very welcoming to me and very professional.
