Mobic And Plaquenil
UpdatedI was prescribed Mobic and plaquenil about a month ago. I ran out of Mobic a couple of days ago...I now have a rash that has taken over my body.
Plaquenil can have a side effect of a rash...maybe I am just now getting the rash, now that it has had time to build up in my body?
I am wondering if the Mobic drug helped to set off the side effect of rash when taking plaquenil or if that was a coincidence?
Or perhaps the rash is caused by something else all together?

Hello, Lanne! How are you?
It is hard to say with certainty, though it could still be the Plaquenil, because some side effects may take 4 or more weeks to appear, once it reaches its full efficacy level in your body. It would be best to have it checked out to be sure.
Are you on any other medications?
