Side Effects Of Sun

I have been on this antibiotic for four days, and weht to the lake for two. I feel like I'm on fire and I'm getting a knot on my forhead,so what are the side effects of the sun and caffine. I'm a little worried.

When reading on this RX when I first started taking it I didn't find anything that had to do with caffine but I did find something on sun. Try to keep out of the sun while using this medication. Wear concealing clothing when outdoors and use sunscreen. (Don't use tanning beds)

The sun warning is there because these types of meds can make you sun sensitive, meaning you might burn much faster than you usually would during sun exposure, you can also overheat and dehydrate faster, so you should always use extra sun protection while taking these, and for approximately a week afterwards. If this was going to happen though, you would have realized it very fast, during your sun exposure, not later. So I would say that if nothing happened you are probably okay and have nothing to worry about.

A knot on your forehead could be anything, hard to say, maybe a slight hive from being in the sun, an insect bite, an allergy to something else. I would recommend seeing your doctor about that if it is worrisome, continues to grow, gets a funny shape or color, or etc.

There is no side effect listed for caffeine, as Kristina stated above, however, caffeine and the types of beverages that contain caffeine can sometimes affect the absorption of certain meds, it may slow or speed up the rate at which it is absorbed in your stomach, which can affect how well the medication works for you.
