Hi, Jun! How are you feeling?

When it comes to hypertension and medications such as this, you can't just take them 'as needed' or when you feel you have symptoms that require it. Your blood pressure could be running high at any time and you may not have symptoms, that's why hypertension is called the silent killer, most people never know they have it, unless their doctor finds it during a routine exam.

And once it's to the point where you are having trouble breathing, it's likely that it's gone very, very high and you could be in danger. You need to consult your doctor immediately.

While most people think that high blood pressure is no big deal, it can lead to heart attack, stroke, congestive heart failure and other serious medical conditions. Trouble breathing is usually a sign of fluid retention that is starting to cause congestive heart failure.

Hypertension and cardiac medications needs to be taken every day, regardless of how you're feeling, unless your doctor instructs you to stop taking them.
