Adderall Manufactured By Teva Not Working (Page 55)

I have had two refills of Adderall 20 mg that was manufactured by Teva/barr (Teva) and it seems to have much less medication in each pill. Refills by another manufacturer work. This is ridiculous, and where do we report Teva and who can check each pill for amount for medication? I would gladly donate some of my worthless ones to the FDA?

Dude RIGHT! They are even made to look like Teva. Lannett is literally worse than nothing, it has completely opposite effects and is worse than a sugar pill. Absolute worst generic out there for sure. I dealt with that 1 month in 2020 and never again, honestly Teva seems to be one of the better ones available right now. Aurobindo may have changed their formula cus they used to be awful but they are not so bad last time I had to fill that.

I am so glad that I am not the only one realizing this. I thought it was just
My tolerance going through the roof in the last year although I probably take even less than I did then so that didn’t make sense. It’s like no matter what generic I request, they all do nothing. They are nothing like they were even a couple of years ago. I thought it was in my head. I’m even a Pharmacy Student so I know how this all works and there’s nothing more infuriating than when you’re treated like a drug seeker and a pharmacy or Dr. states “they should all be about the same.” They if anyone should know that’s not true.

Yep now the concerta meds are doing the same thing.Ive taken concerta for yrs before adderall and now the brand name and another generic has failed no effect.I know i dont have any tolerance ive taken weeks off each type of med.Unless their giving me placebos on purpose my psychiatrist which i doubt.When you need your focus and motivation and the meds dont work like they should it really messes with your mind.

The manufacturer is Teva and they aren’t working ? Are the 20 mg IR ? Or the capsule ? Also, is each item branded ? If images were displayed with these comments it would be more helpful.

I have found, just recently, that Teva seems to be working much better.
At least, it is the only generic brand that I would recommend… That is for sure. I take 30 mg IR

None of the manufacturers work. Reason being is they all get api from the same suppliers. Also api had a 50% increase in cost which the manufacturers have to absorb. Another thing their haven't been able to get api because of raw supply manufacturing shut downs which is different from a pill manufacturer. Our meds were already impacted from the sketchy manufacturers cutting corners. Also you have the dea who put a quota on the amount of meds that can be produced yearly which they screwed up on because covid caused alot of people to work from home and kids to learn from home, which increased ADHD diagnosis and a demand increase for the meds they try to regulate limits because of addicts on the streets. The FDA is terrified of drug shortages because its their responsibility to maintain the constant supply chain and we now know their funded by these same manufacturers that they inspect. It used to be based on just tax payers dollars to keep them paid. So even if they know about this they will not rush to fix it. There are a few trusted news sites and articles to get info I'd recommend not using google, they're pretty filtered in terms of reliable source it's a big monopoly. Sorry but I don't trust putting pictures of medicine info on internet. If you would like I can give you the NDC number, company names, and possibly a batch number.

Thank you for sharing this! I just got a new refill in the last 2 days and I am not feeling anything like I normally have always and I even seem to be tired believe it or not. This is what worst feeling and the are definitely not working. Because of the effects I was feeling that's why I just wanted to Google it and found this.

I am having the exact same problem, it's horrible. They don't work and are so different than ever before. There is basically a reverse effect, can't focus, tired and unmotivated. It's effecting my job. Not sure if there is even anything that can be done now that I picked them up and tried them.

The pharmacy cannot take them back and refund your money. The FDA nor any other government agency is going to test the tablets.

I have noticed something usual with the tablets this time.

On some of the tables the -30- is upside down in relation to the other side/

Must have been a manufacturing mistake

I heard, also, that Walgreens will no longer be contracting with TEVA
as it relates to Adderall.

Maybe we should all pool our money, hire a chemist, have tests run on all our s****y scripts. Then hire a lawyer and sue the s*** out of teva, elite, and the FDA for fraud, negligence, and reckless endangerment. Or whatever charges said lawyers see fit.

Seriously, it's gonna have to be civilian legal action. The FDA isn’t gonna do s***. They’re part of the criminal system that enables big pharma to be drug dealers who cut their products.

Once a prescription leaves a pharmacy. There is no credible evidence it is what the pharmacy actually dispensed. It might look the same and be in the bottle the pharmacy dispensed it in. But legally anything could have happened to it. Even if there were a chain of evidence. The cost of hiring a expert to test it and to testify in court is thousands, possibly tens of thousands of dollars. Not to mention the cost of paying a attorney, court costs, etc

Like it or not, the pharmaceutical companies did not break the law nor has the FDA. Plus you cannot sucessfully sue and get a judgement against a government agency. If you do not like the brand of medication you receive. You are free to change to another brand.

The leverage are the consumers.

Teva is the most potent.

The reason it has not been lately is because the generic Adderall produced by Teva will (and is currently being…) produced by a different firm

My pharmacist at Walgreens recently advised me that they are experiencing a national shortage of generic Adderall IR because they are switching from Teva to Levitt

That is true. But most of the brands are absolutely horrible.

I honestly feel those who are so negative towards Teva will be saying…

Is the 3K-4K for testing alone? That alone will not do anything. I can assure you 3K-4K is not all that will be charged if the person has a deposition and go to court. I assume they are not a expert in the field of pharmacology. It is best to have a expert witness when you go to court. The other side will have a expert witness. Of course all of this is pretend. Even if a person or group had the money to pay an attorney, court costs, etc . No attorney in their right mind would take the case because they know it would be thrown out of court at the beginning
