I am very sensitive to fillers and have just learned that "MYLAN" has discontinued it's Lorazepam. I cannot find a brand using the same inactive ingredients as MYLAN, which I tolerate well. Can you tell me who makes Lorazepam as MYLAN did, with Lactose Monohydrate, Microcrystalline Cellulos, Polacrilin Potassium and Sodium Stearyl Fumarate? (PLZ include all that you find as our area has very few pharmacies.) THANK YOU. ## Hello HomeTown Mom, Sorry to hear that the brand that works for you is being discontinued. Hopefully I can give you some viable options based upon the information you have given me. Out of the 100 brands I reserached on the NIH website these are the few that have the exact same active and inactive ingredients as the Mylan brand. Mylan Aphena Proficient Rx L...

I’ve been on 1-1 1/2 mg of Lorazepam for about a year and a half. I'm tying to taper off and looking for a safe reduction process. A couple of weeks ago I had tapered down to 1/2 -3/4 mg and ran out. I couldn’t even get out of bed. Heart racing, stomach knotted a total mess. My Dr office told me it was withdrawal and just wanted me to ride it out but eventually gave me a 2 week refill. My neighbor had to pick it up for me as I was basically incapable. This didn’t feel safe for me so I called a couple of RN friends with experience in the field and a friend who is a retired addiction counselor of 30 years. They all told that what my Dr initially said was very bad advice and dangerous and that I would need a 6-8 taper schedule of 25% every 2 weeks. I’m sure I...

My lorazepam was just inceased to 8mg. Can the recent increase cause side effects such as severe back pain and pain under the right breast in a person who has osteroporoseis who previously had minor side effects and is consuming adequate calcium ## Hello, Lindamann! How are you? Yes, it has been known to cause such symptoms, as side effects, in some people that take it, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, irritability and headache. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. It is best, however, to have it checked out by your doctor, to be sure. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Is Activision and watson the same lorazapan? I was taking watson for years then they snuck in activists. I haven't slept and I'm always yelling at my husband. T...

My son was given a small round purple pill in hospital tonight. I was told it was 2 mg of Lorazapam. I can't find a picture of any 2 Mg Lorazapam that are small round and purple? My son is autistic and is in a catatonic -like condition due to high levels of anxiety recently. Help! I need to know if this little pill really was Lorazapam . ## Wish I could help you . maybe it depends on the dose. Mine are four grams each and they are white. Never saw pur ple. Sorry darling. I will do a bit of research for you. Hang on! ## Thank you for your reply. I've looked up Lorazapam 2mg on the web but only saw white pills at that dose. ## Hello, Margaret! How are you and your son? No, I scrolled through several pages of pill images and didn't find any Lorazepam that are purple, or even bl...

Is sandoz lorazepam the same as watson or actavis? I mean, the same brand? I heard that they are same company or same manufacturer. I took watson but due to serious side effect (panic attack, heart pounding, dehydration, choking, asthma, internal tremor, insomnia) with no calming effect, I was very ill so could not take it. Rite aid accepted return, but CVS did not accept return when I got serious side effect from leading pharma lorazepam at once so could not take it. CVS said in California, once patients receive any medicine they can not return it as it is against the law. Then why rite aid accepted return? CVS also told me that no transfer is allowed. But for controlled substance, one transfer is allowed as I experienced a lot of times before. Once patient bought it unless they return...

Hello, I noticed that Sandoz is manufacturing Lorazepam again.. (the has stopeed for 2-3 years now). I am wondering if anyone has tried them? How do you rate them? Do they make you sleepy? Do they help with your anxiety?? Any details would be great.. Thank you.. p.s. (I used to take them before Sandoz had stopped making them for years and they had helped me worderfully. Wondering if they are made the same now.) ## Hi Bessy, As I do not have any experience with Lorazepam, I am unfit to answer your question as accurately as I would like to. I have attached a link to one of the new Lorazepam threads down below so that you can speak with others on the site about the new version and their experiences. Trying to avoid taking 2 meds a little too close together. Does it help to snack when taking prescription medicine (such as Lorazepam or Hydrocodone 10 mg)? ## Food won't lessen the efficacy of Lorazepam, or Hydrocodone, but it can lessen the severity of the side effects they cause, such as nausea, and dizziness. The FDA also warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause other side effects, such as headache, irritability, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Very helpful. Thank you!

Please discuss the cons of both these medicines. Dr wants me to introduce Venlor while reducing Acti-lift until I am on Venlor alone. Which one has the most negative effects on the brain, and in what way? Pléase, I am 70 years old, have nobody left to see should I start to act irresponsible - I need to be able to make decisions and think rassionally. I live on my own, very irregularly see people and have no support system. It is ok, but I need to not compromise my senses in any way I can prevent. With the Ctialopram I do not cry at any bagatelle, but it does leave me with flat emotions, forgetfulnes, a very slow mind, etc. I use 10 mg per day. I am scared to change to this unknown pil, as I do not know what else it may affect, except my corpse-like emotions. Also, how permanent any of

I am a healthy woman in my 60's and I am struggling with anxiety. I have found great relief taking small amounts (1 mg / day) of Lorezepam but am concerned about possibilities of addiction. Please advise, all input is good input. Thank you , Shelly ## Unless you are abusing such a medication and taking more than prescribed, you may become dependent upon it, but not usually addicted. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and irritability. How long have you been taking it? Are you on any other medications? ## It is the withdrawal factor that is so frightening. Your doctor will warn you addiction and overlook withdrawal. People over the age of 60 should always be careful with any of the benzodiazepines as they're not me...

Stay away from this. This causes sleep apnea, respiratory depression, irritability, muscle weakness due to which you may fall and have a fracture. Start reducing the dosage immediately. ## What is Larpose prescribed for? ## Larpose is a brand of Lorazepam manufactured by Cipla in India. Lorazepam is an anticonvulsant used to relieve the symptoms of anxiety and seiz...

I have a small round white pill. It has 633 on one side and on the other has a symbol that looks like a ribbon. Any help would be appreciated. ## small white pill 633 one side - looks like moon other side ## 633 on one side - round white - with the "moon" as you call it is more like "half moon" or a letter C; I think the drug is lorazepam - what do you think? ## That moon marking is the logo for Actavis Inc. and they list this tablet as containing 10mgs of Lovastatin, which is most commonly used to help lower cholesterol. NDC: 45963-0633 The R that looked like a ribbon was their prior logo for this same medication. Inactive ingredients may include: Lactose Monohydrate Magnesium Stearate Cellulose, Microcrystalline Starch, Corn Butylated Hydroxyanisole Is there anything e...

Is bencoprim the same as lorazepam? My Tucson doctor gave me a prescription for lorazepam 16 yrs ago and i went to Nogales, Mexico and asked for lorazepam and they sold me bencoprim and said it was the same as lorazepam. Is this correct? ## Hello, Jayne! How are you? Actually no, Bencoprim is listed as containing Cyclobenzaprine, which is a muscle relaxant, better know under the U.S. trade name Flexeril. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have been taking Ativan (1mg) for 15 yrs. 2 months ago, I had a delivery problem with Express-Scripts. I have been taking Lorazepam for over a year to help me sleep and as needed. I take .5 mg, have had no problems at all, now Target tells me they now get it from somewhere else. I always stay with the same company if it works. Always have problems when they change.. Can you tell me who still carries this from Actavis and where to get it filled? Thank you!! ## Hello Mary, Unfortunately, no. Nobody will be able to accurately tell you which pharmacy in your area carries which brand of a product, in fact most pharmacies won't tell you if they carry the product unless you are there in person with a signed prescription for that medication. The reason for this is that the pharmacies protect themselves from theft by not providing people with information on what drug they carry and which bran...

MP61 pink tablets, oblong, rounded: LORAZEPAM 2.5mg made by Metwest Pharmaceuticals. Possibly the best lorazepam I ever had! ## It's a strange one isn't it, as the same company makes the 1mg Lorazepam too and they are probably one of the worst I've experimented with. I'd buy the 2.5 mg in a heartbeat but avoid the white round 1mg ones. ## I had MP/61 pink 2.5 mg pills and I took my doses in a 5 hr period. I think they are Lorazepam. They are not really that euphoric, but 2 days later, and everything while I was on the medication is forgotten.

I used to take Qualitest lorazepam but it was discontinued. I had to switch but Watson / Actavis does not work and causes side effects. Most pharmacies carry Actavis. My local Walgreens carries Sandoz which is similar to Watson. Another local pharmacy carries Mylan or cardinal health. Anyone tried Cardinal health or Mylan lorazepam and worked ok? Where can I get excellium lorazepam 1mg? I called 30 pharmacies in my area but none deal with it. I heard excellium lorazepam works well. ## The main issue here is that this is a potentially addictive substance, according to FDA warnings. Thus, most pharmacies are not going to give you an honest answer, because they don't know if someone calling is a legitimate patient with a need, or a possible drug seeker that might want to rob them. The ...

Please show me photos of a round pink pill with the markings M 32. ## A round, pink tablet with M over 32 is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 50mgs of Metoprolol, which is used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. You can view an image and description here 0378-0032. I just refilled a prescription for 2mg Lorazepam but this time I got a much larger pill manufactured by Qualitest. The previous med I was taking was manufactured by Actavis/Watson…. Has anyone noticed a difference in symptoms? ## Hello, Angela! How are you? Have you tried taking it, yet? They are just manufactured by different companies, but the medication itself is the same. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. I've taken the one by Qualitest before and it worked well for me, but that was several years ago. ## I have been taking Ativan/lorazipan for a long time, it seem every time I find a brand I like they stop making it, right now I am taking qualitest 1mg, and it wo...

I have been trying to get Sandoz Lorazepam, and finally after three months I found a drugstore that actually cares about people, Bath Drugstore in Bath, Pa. they are the best. They didn't tell me that they didn't carry Sandoz, they told me...Tell us what you need and we will order it for you...GOD BLESS THEM..... ## Hi Marjorie, Even though it took some time, I'm happy to hear that you were able to get your prescription filled from a reliable pharmacy. It seems like finding one like that is considered to be somewhat rare now-a-days, especially with all the strict regulations that have been put in place by the DEA over the past few years. I would encourage you to stay with them as long as you're able to. Not many others out there seem to have it together enough to make th...

Sadly I just found out that mylan is discontinuing I have a partial script of .5 mylan because 1mg is already gone and the rest is Actavis! I tried one of the Actavis today and it completely zonked me out and feel so weird! Only other one they said they have is Leading. But I saw people post horrible stuff about that as well. A girl I know goes to a different pharmacy and has the exellium brand. I’ve never heard of it... has anyone taken it on the regular and do you find it’s better...
