Mp 447 Yellow Pill Discontinued (Page 3) (Top voted first)

Are these tablets Adderall, and are they a good brand?

I also heard that they may be discontinued. Is that true as well?

Lots of filler. Work pretty good but your sinuses and all that will beg for mercy after a few days of using them. They work fine for me and last most of the day with no noticeable crash really. All you can do is try it as prescribed.

Re: SJ (# 14) Expand Referenced Message
agree! Been on the med my entire life! Absolutely, gained strange weight n stomach distended ? stomach will have pains from gi issues snd very much uncomfortable every time! Works but it doesn’t work the same as it once did! Something is super sketch per usual w dea snd regulations (quality control is nonexistent ) the sandoz brand is so nit the team deal anymore and makes me uninspired just bland! tastes soapy, makes me easiky annoyed and wears off in an hr causing great need to redose but I try to refrain it’s a head game and they’ve just all inconsistent with performance all brands on a monthly basis. I feel it’s a mindwarp but u can tell the diff in generics instantaneously, I feel focused, balanced, productive and clear minded anytime I’ve received the yellow sun ones they seem to be clear cut clean focus with less fillers or side effects if any ! Thanks for your posts !! I like the yellows too! many ppl chasing the very mych changed formula brand name and noticeably different and weaker effects today

MP 457 much stronger than oval Teva. Makes my blood pressure rise too high. I've had them for 5 days after Teva for a year. I'm snapped in half and it still seems stronger than Teva.

Re: Compy (# 4) Expand Referenced Message

I contacted Teva, the manufacturer of the orange oval 30 mg adderall (the one that tastes better than the others) & they do not have a shortage on the 30 mg, as they confirmed in their response to my email. They gave me a list of vendors & what pharmacies are contracted through them. With that information, I wonder why pharmacies are claiming the 30 mg are on back order.

Re: SJ (# 14) Expand Referenced Message

They’re not on back order, I contacted Teva myself and was informed that the Teva 30 mg plain tablet adderall does not have a shortage. Once enough people request that brand, they’ll be forced to order it. What’s even more strange is they can get the 20 mg, along with other mgs just not 30! Odd!

Re: DocK (# 8) Expand Referenced Message

Absolute spot-on post. It's why, in 2022, a generic Adderall can feel like Phenergan, a different generic Adderall can feel like ephedrine, while a generic Xanax can feel like Nyquil, with none of the three providing any relief for the symptoms for which they were prescribed. Meanwhile, a decade of Medschat posters (as well as others) have been filing FDA complaints, calling pharm companies, arguing with (at best) clueless medical personnel, and contacting governmental officials to no avail. The system is captured and broken.

Up until now, brand name medications have largely prevented this problem, but in the last few months there seems to be an issue with two different brand name benzodiazepines. And, of course, in the case of the erstwhile Adderall IR, it doesn't exist. What is dispensed as "Adderall IR" bears no resemblance to original Shire Adderall tablets circa 20 years ago. That superior product's formulation is a mystery that I (as well as many other ADHD-ers) would love to solve.

Any theories on the malfeasance of the pharm industry not making "what it says on the tin"? I've read " Bottle of Lies" by Katherine Egan, I know about the FDA/DEA allotted quotas of stimulants/benzodiazepines/opioids decreasing by more percentages each year in recent years even as the numbers of patients with conditions that are treated by these types of medications increase (while psychedelics like LSD have been increased by eight thousand percent for 2022; I cannot imagine why), but I think poor production/manufacturing techniques, the quota squeeze, and "the opioid epidemic" are only the tip of the iceberg.

There's been a 180 degree turn in the last few years where the prevailing belief is that marijuana/CBD can take the place of all scheduled drugs if one only finds the right "strain". It's as if the idea of everyone having a unique brain is lost on all of these people pushing pot--some people do not find it helpful and/or functional. I'm sure this has a lot to do with legalization along with the fact that opioids and benzodiazepines are off-patent, and most stimulants will be too in a few years. Analogous reason to why neuroleptics (aka " second generation antipsychotics") have been illogically pushed as a panacea (!!!!) for mild depression, anxiety, or insomnia. It's patently insane (double pun intended).

If a drug is non-scheduled, amenable to "me too" prescribing, causes a palpable sensation distinguishable from placebo (even if unpleasant), can be priced high enough to accommodate a disingenuous yet wide-ranging rebranding campaign, and is largely prescribed to an easily-discredited marginalized population who will become less functional from its effects, it can be wildly successful! --The Second (Generation of) Antipsychotics Law!

Re: DocK (# 8) Expand Referenced Message

You're dead on for the most part. Teva/barr are the same brand tho. But as you mentioned as being a little better (I'm paraphrasing). Are in reality much better imo. In fact I think they are the only generics that fully do what they're supposed to do. Seems to be the general consensus as well if you research a bit. It's Teva & Sandoz in the top spot with Teva edging it out. Then a drop to Cor (pink ones) then a huge drop to the white octagon shaped ones, then these others that do absolutely nothing except cause a headache & tiredness like the yellows and other orange generics, etc.

Re: florida gal (# 6) Expand Referenced Message

They worked great for me , compared to most other several other generics, Teva being number one of course but these are definitely decent compared to a lot others that are bad

Re: Betty (# 34) Expand Referenced Message

I think Teva is the worst brand I can't feel them at all. Sandos maybe a little more costly but it's well worth it people don't often get sandals so they don't know just how good it is.!

Re: brand (# 39) Expand Referenced Message

Those white ones give me a headache and make me mad because they seem to be counterfeit...like a sugar pill. They don't work. My opinion is that they suck.

Re: Dew (# 12) Expand Referenced Message

Whay your Pharmacist told you is not always true. I have the manufacturer I requested ordered and delivered every month. It hasn't been an issue for me. You need to talk to Pharmacist and explain why your request is valid. Then if the answer is no it's time to move on to a different pharmacy!

How do I make a report to the FDA? My experience is just like this. I think they are fake.
