Mp 447 Yellow Pill Discontinued (Page 2) (Top voted first)

Updated

Are these tablets Adderall, and are they a good brand?

I also heard that they may be discontinued. Is that true as well?

Re: Samana (# 3) Expand Referenced Message

I donot find the Yellow 447 pills as efective. The orange round ones are more effective, and the smaller oval shaped orange ones have the most effect on me personally

Re: Nina (# 7) Expand Referenced Message

For me they were pretty good, no problems with them. I’ve been through many brands recently and so far they are up there but of course nothing like Teva. There are about 4-6 decent brands and 5 you never want to get. I spent some hours and came up with this list, from best to worst:

1. Teva
2. Sun
3. Sandoz
4. Lannett
5. Camber
6. Zydus
7. Coreapharma
8. Mylan
9. Alvogen
10. Mallinckrodt

Re: Compy (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

Yes. They’re terrible. Had bad side effects and felt like I didn’t even take the medication. Worst generic I have tried to date. I reported it to the FDA. I highly encourage you to do the same if you had a similar experience.

Re: SJ (# 14) Expand Referenced Message

This is very enlightening for me because I have also been on stimulants for ADD my entire life. From 7 years old to 38 and I swore by the Teva brand. When Teva was out of stock about 5 months ago, my pharmacist told me to try the Lannett brand because he has another patient who is picky like me and likes the Teva. It’s oval and peach colored just like Teva, but about a third of the cost. I thought they were decent, but right around the same time I started them 5 months ago, I started having MAJOR GI issues like I had never had before. I won’t get into the disgusting details of it, but it was so bad I went to the ER. I thought it had to either be this new generic from Lannett, some kind of infection or stress related because I have been going through more than ever in my personal life recently. Well after I got all the tests back, I knew it was not caused by an infection of any sorts. It has been off and on for the last 5 months and seems to also be linked to my monthly cycle as well or exacerbated by hormonal changes. Now that I am reading these reviews where a few of you have mentioned GI and hormone disruption, I am wondering if it was the generic Lannett meds. I have been given the Sun Pharma generics for a few days worth until they get more in stock, so I will report back how it does. I just took my first dose about 20 minutes ago. Also, I think I had these a long time ago and didn’t like them, but I noticed along this forum that all the negative reviews were around 2017 and all the good reviews are around 2021, so maybe Sun has changed their formula over the years to keep a competitive edge to their product. Us ADHD diagnosed really don’t like our meds to be f****d with lol

Re: Stephanie (# 35) Expand Referenced Message

Yes hormonal disruption and gut issues go hand in hand. For the past year it has been a disheartening. For a while I was on Alvogen and did pretty well. Then the pharmacy only had Teva, which I had issues the first month and then things got better. Then all the sudden they have been filling with Sandoz. The fillers in these are the worst. Bloating, digestive issues, hormones are off the charts again. Time for a liver detox!

Re: Jaime (# 22) Expand Referenced Message

Well it's two years later and they're still on back order. Now I'm dispensed something different almost every month. Some are better then others, no transparency I read. I think its past time for some transparency between companies. There's way to much medication that's less then high quality. Three months ago I was dispensed the Mp477 tablets, they worked very well for me. I haven't been able to find them again. Time for the generic Adderall shortage to end, we should be able to count on quality pharmaceuticals every time. I think that's unacceptable, not knowing if your prescription medication is going to be of good quality. I see no reason I cannot order what works for me. There's no reason for everything being secretive, this makes no sense. Now my pharmacist says they aren't able to order a brand you prefer, what they get is out of their control, and that's what you receive like it or not. Some month's they don't have any, or not the dosage you prescribed. So instead of 60 thirty mg tablets they fill mine with 90 twenty mg tablets. Also the price is going up, they can't submit to my Insurance Company. So it's cash, that's bs in my opinion!

Re: Dew (# 12) Expand Referenced Message

Unfortunately, since it's a scheduled class 2 substance You're not able to actually call a pharmacy and ask what they have in stock, What brands they carry or even if they have them. All these pill popping oxymorons ruin it for everyone as they used to do that with questions over the phone asking what brands are in stock, do you have "x" amount on hand as I have a script for it and so on. After gathering their info, they would go rob those pharmacies and sometimes even resulting in shoot the pharmacist in the head on the way out (I remember two cases that involved massacres over stupid pills).

As a result, lives were ruined forever, and these stupid laws were put into place not permitting any pharmacy to tell you any information regarding class 2 substances over the phone. That became very annoying as I was in an accident in the past and do needed painkillers. Well it turns out if the pharmacy doesn't know you, even if they have it chances are they will not serve you. I felt like a teenager trying to buy beer for f-- sakes!. I remember suffering from a lot of pain, having to go several pharmacies meanwhile was in so much pain That it took me 10 15 minutes just to get out of the damn car. Finally got lucky at the sixth pharmacy. Now, that was many years ago, I'm still loyal and grateful to that 6th pharmacy as they gained a new customer that didn't need painkillers after a month, helped out someone in pain who ended transferred everything pharmacy wise to them. This is why I recommend sticking with mom and pop pharmacies because of they don't have it, they will get it to you quick and that goes for all types of generics that may not work for you and they'll get it for you upon request and keep a stock just for you. Now that's customer service.

Epic pharmaceuticals (pink round Adderall)
Greenstone pharmaceuticals (white Xanax) BEST

Lastly, what I love about mom and pop pharmacies as soon as you walking through their door and see you, you can literally hear the pills being shuffled through the counter while being bottled which means you're in and out the f---ing door and less than 10 minutes. Not these damn big box stores (Walmart being the worst of course and going down to grocery stores) No matter how busy or how slow they are minimum weight of 30 minutes to an hour purposely just so you'll shop around and end up buying s--- that you don't need or don't really need it that particular day for example.

Advice:

1, make a list of all the generics made for your medication(s) while keeping track of what's crap and choosing at least two to three that you're willing to take due to their effectiveness on you of course putting your favorite at the top.

2, find a trustworthy good mom and pop shop pharmacy that will go out of their way for you as you're their customer And simply get the ones that work for you best.

What I love about mom and pop pharmacies as soon as you walking through their door and see you, you can literally hear the pills being shuffled and counted while being bottled which means you're in and out the door and less than 10 minutes. Not these damn big box stores (Walmart being the worst of course and going down to grocery stores) No matter how busy or how slow they are, minimum wait is always 30 minutes to an hour purposely just so you'll shop around at their store. The longer they keep you the bigger chance of you actually buying something or making a stupid impulse buy that will cost you and unnecessary amount of money. I once sat in a big box store pharmacy with no other people waiting around me with no drive thru while watching three pharmacists play grab ass for an hour before finally bottling your medication & checking me out so I may leave. NOW that is some BS right there as I actually witnessed them not working or bottling other orders as they were screwing around in plain sight.

3, after taking the same exact generics or even brand names for x amount of time, they may stop being as effective as they used to. Therefore, rotating your medication to your second favorite is recommended and/or trying to lower your dosage for a month or two in order to balance out your tolerance for the medication That may have worked wonders for you while later becoming very ineffective or just ever so slightly.

4, If you could live without it stay away from it. Remember here in America there's no such thing as a curing doctor. It's a nation of business therefore it's more profitable to treat you instead of curing you. Always keep an eye for alternatives to fix your problems and stop being a whore for big pharma just like I used to be one for big tobacco for example.

We all have our weaknesses moderation is key and getting to know your your body from a mental spiritual point can be also very beneficial as you'll be surprised at what your own body and mind may cure.

Good luck stay healthy

Re: David (# 2) Expand Referenced Message

As far as I have seen with people I personally know in my life they use those inactive ingredients, and especially the coloring to get the pill they want. They go on a site just like this..find out reaction with the one they got, and they go to their doctor complain..and get the "good" version of adderall or suboxone whatever it may be. Usually they are seeking the abusable version as opposed to the types that have safeguards to try and prevent abuse. these adderall do the same as the orange candy tasting 20s, or 30s. might take a little longer to kick in, but equal results

Re: DocK (# 8) Expand Referenced Message

My pharmacist told me that it was the same make up as any of the other Adderall generic. The FDA would have not approved it and he’s been a pharmacist for 25 years and I know that it makes me feel different than the orange ones or the pink ones. How do you deal with that?

Why on earth would your sinuses be at all affected by fillers unless you were abusing them? Take your misuse anecdotes elsewhere.
