I am having a hard time finding a dr in staten island NY. Even after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 3years ago& being prescribed oxycontin for almost 2 years my dr has moved his practice& no other doctors are willing to help me the same way my last doc was now with him not around& me off the meds I was on for so long my pain from MS has progressed I do have all mri's& documents that state I do have MS. Can I be helped??

Hi did u go to Massapequa Pain Management. Can't find anyone on eastern long island willing to write script for metadone.

Sorry I meant to say I was subscribed oxycodone and am looking for a new doctor to subscribe the same 30mg roxicodone I was on since my dr has moved away from new York,si because my ms has been progressing and those meds are the only pain meds I can take I will travel to the city or any of the 5 burrows to find another doctor willing to subscribe me pain meds.

I need a pain mgmt doctor to prescribe Fiorinal#3's 180/mnth, oxycodone 30mg 90+ and adderall in northern california, my former doctor had license revoked,
my injuries, spinal DDD, Jaw broken instruments, one loose in ear, lower right jaw, multiple oral surgeries, and cervical nerve impingement hands, arms go numb, difficulty walking, etc.
any help is appreciated, I am running out of meds. SF BAY AREA

Hi there.. I also live in the area and have been to many doctors that have been recommended by people who tell me "oh go see this doc you will get anything you want" then I go and walk out empty handed. I have a chronic condition that requires surgery to rectify, but for numerous reasons I am unable to have this surgery for at least another 6 to 8 months. I'm a single mom and its so difficult to do everything, even everyday tasks, being in constant pain. I don't want to keep going to new docs cause I'm afraid people will think I'm doctor shopping or something. I really just need a decent doc who will understand, sympathize, and give me a script for either Percocet or roxicodone, since the Oxy seams to be the only thing that gives me any relief. I've tried everything from morphine to tramadol, darvocet, hydrocodone, etc and the oxy based are the only ones that help. This is a lot longer than I set out to write, sorry! Point is, I would really love to know if this dr. Tipirneni will really prescribe what I need. I have empty bottles, mri, etc to back up what I say as well. If anyone knows if this doc will be good for this, or of any other doc that would, please let me know asap! Thanks so much...

I've had pain for years of hip arthrits and bulging discs. My Dr. recently got spooked about giving my pain meds (Vicoden) over the years and sent me to PM dr's. THey all want to inject me in the spine. The vicoden has helped me for years and I still take it as perscribed without taking more. Sometimes less. Please, if you know of some Dr's on Long Island (Nassau/Suffolk) not afraid to keep someone out of pain without going thru various medical and invasive proceedures, please let me know: {edited for privacy} Thank you so mcu

okay....so my mom and aunt both have chronic pain,,,my aunt has scleroderma and my mom,,,i dont know what is wrong with her but they both go to Barry Gruber M.D. located on west main street babylon long island at the long island rheumatology and osteoperosis center..One gets oxycontin(10s) and the other gets percs (10/325) Give him a try. 631 376 3760
